You're talking about El Estepario Siberiano, yeah? What a legend. Evgeny is, too. He's so underrated and has such a great balance between controlled chaos and groove. My dude must go through cymbals like water with how hard he hits, and that's without the fact that he plays with the butt-end of his sticks. His footwork is so fun to watch as a drummer because his technique is this combo of swivel and heel-toe. I've never seen anyone do that, but he's onto something because it looks efficient as hell.
Yes I am, as soon as I had finished recording this I looked him up to make sure of his name! I found him through YT shorts and that dude is an absolute machine! So is Mr. Novikov though 😂 he probably does get though alot of sticks, skins etc!

I don't know if deathcore is really much of your style, but if you feel like it, you should check out Lorna Shore - To The Hellfire (Will Ramos One Take is a version I prefer more than the studio because you get to hear the vocalist a lot clearer) and even Lorna Shore - Into the Earth drum playthrough by Austin Archey (he's an absolute mad man on the kit)
Lorna Shore is on my list because even if the music isn't for me, I am very interested in Will's vocal technique! I have heard a lot about it.
