- Battlefield is 20 years old now, and sometimes Battlefield 2042 brings those old school moments and feels back when playing with a good squad of friends. Featuring @TwoAngryGamersTV Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
My favorite was Battlefield 3. I’ll never forget the first time I used C4 to blowout a wall and surprise flank the enemy. In that moment, I fell in love with the series.
It was so smooth, and well balanced
Mine was throwing RPG thru a wall to make an entrance, that did it for me
It was my first Battlefield and I’m so goddamn glad it was.
I loved blowing up those big silos they had the biggest explosions
@good3737 305 What is even more mind blowing is that you can do that in BF2042 but people act like you can't.....
BF peaked for me after 20 years with the introduction of wall-climbing hovercrafts.
And let's not forget the Team Fortress-like cheesy voice lines of the soldiers!
@@tonyterracotta2165 surprised they didn’t throw in nursery rhymes as the operator’s sayings
@@paulbrown3302 lol
Wall-climbing hovercrafts were goofy af and i love them for that- 💀
You're a liar too 🤣
The most amazed I've ever been in my 30 years of playing video games is BF1 with the operations, the calibre of that game was immense. A grim colour pallete, a zepplin over head on fire, explosions all around, people charging through smoke with bayonets and trenching tools, every game was cinematic, a grueling slog.
“Oooo the PP feels good today”
-JackFrags, 2022
Lol I caught that too 😂
BF:BC2 was my introduction to the series, and I was hooked. The number of players, destruction, open-ended gameplay, and fantastic single player campaign. It wasn't too long after BF3 came out. BF4 is still my all time favorite, especially once I started playing exclusively Hardcore gamemodes.
BF4 hardcore was my favorite too! They changed (ruined) hardcore for BF1 and that was the beginning of the end for me. Me and all of my Hardcore friends as well. Dice really screwed up.
I loved bfbc2
same
The maps were epic
Mine too. The Game for PC came with 5 discs that had to be downloaded to the hard drive first. N then the discs were pretty much worthless after that. But those were the good ol days
My favorite was bf1….. the amount of detail and background music was so epic. I almost shed a tear while holding my new born son in that time. The best part was flying around the blimp and making some crazy maneuvers dodging enemy aa. Especially the kill sound you got In that game was soooooo crispy. I really felt like I was in that era of war. Nothing can compare to the amount of hours I’ve put in that game. Also in that time battlefront one came out and my life was at its peak of great online gaming. It felt like cod4, sf4, and halo 3 times…. It was all about the music for me. 2042 lacks that. The epicness we saw in that first trailer we got was intense but this was a big let down on how little destruction there was and having a small variety of gun content. I thought I was gonna see bf1 planes and modern planes go at it lol
Intense sweating moment when in Operations with zero lives and flag being contested with that background music hyping up the players, you just felt it that everyone was fighting hard
You guys don’t like pb&j?😮
I do gotta say I'm so glad someone made an epic ww1 game
Bf1 was my favorite as well! Still okay it. It was my first BF game that I properly got into
I played it for the first time this year and the game is so tight. I’ve been really digging the single player campaigns (the war stories) and how the multiplayer games feel like actual battles in how they progress.
I ran an Internet cafe way way back just before the release of BF2. When that game dropped, I can’t even tell you the feeling of having the entire place packed out with people jamming some BF2. It was absolutely the time to be alive.
Great content as always Jack
Battlefield 2 was my first online multiplayer experience which had more then 16 people....Battlefield 2 will always be in my heart
i got to this day my BF2 keychain from the collectors edition on my keys
I remember my first online multiplayer Battlefield 1942 will always be in my heart
Me to bro that game was epic. Enemy boat spotted... Enemy AA spotted... The commander call outs wow. Nothing like it
remake BF2 Identically .. but with the new engine .. multi million pound sales guaranteed .Absolute awsome game
@@EntraVenuS Spot on dude.
BFBC2, BF3, and BF4 all are pretty much tied for favorites. It seemed like when one came out there was something a little better about it than the previous one. So addicting to play, and so much fun. Good times with friends as well. And a lot of fun watching you, matimio, levelcap and even xfactor squad up. Really miss what BF used to be.
Fully agree with this 👍🏽
Well said
Same for me..BBC2 B3 B4..
Me too! BFBC2 is what convinced me to drop CoD and commit to Battlefield. By the time BF5 came around, it was no longer a good game for me. Thankfully CoD Warzone came in for the rescue. I’ve never looked back. Battlefield is just a memory now, of what a great franchise it once was.
Bf1 is up there with the greats just due to the immersive game play, the whole game felt like a trailor and a mission trying to win operations. Overall people's favourites are bfbc2, BF4 and bf1. Those 3 games had changes yet exciting to play. Bf3 was amazing tho but yeah BF4 was the improved version of it
Honestly… as an American, it’s crazy to hear you guys say you don’t eat PB&J’s 😂. That was my childhood, great video as usual Jack 🔥
I was going to comment the same thing!
For real, I thought they were doing a bit at first 😂
Yeah. Rest of the video was a wash. I was way too heated over the PB&J slander!!!! Hahahaha
'jelly' overhere is what we'd call 'jello'. So it may never caught on because the image of that is crazy for them haha. Like 'Biscuts and gravy' (cookies and gravy? wtf?). Brits also are not addicted to peanutbutter like americans, though it seems to be catching on more and more...
I know right, they literally put beans on toast for breakfast so idk if they can speak on what tastes good
Hands down Battlefield 2...The maps to start were some of the best ever in the franchise. Having a commander to spot the map giving orders as a squad leader to take down the enemy with real 6 man squads and proper classes. The soundtrack was epic. No battlefield has ever seen come close to Battlefield 2 in fun factor. I really wish they would remake BF2 in its entirety seeing that it was only a PC title back in those days I think it would be an epic re release for pc and next gen console players. In those days people actually played the objective because that is what Battlefield is about. Great squad team play with 6 man squads so you can play with more than just 3 friends. I miss that game so much.
bf2 thats what got me hooked on bf series.
That intro and that stupid soldier getting rag dolled makes my heart warm
Yep by the time the shut down the bf2 servers I had racked up 60k kills and 30k deaths 😂😭. No battlefield has compared to it.
Yep, BF2 best gameplay for teams, especially if squad leaders and commander work well together. Dragon Valley my favourite map. Most other BF are extremely chaotic, no real strategies and too many toys like heat seeking missiles. Yawn. Trying to hit with TV guided missiles is awesome in BF2.
I got myself a joystick just for BF2 and got real advantage over other aircraft vehicle players .. what a time it was
Playing Battlefield Vietnam in a decent sized LAN meet with a bunch of friends will always be my fondest memory of Battlefield, hearing a scream of "there's a tank in our base" as I brought one of the amphibious tanks up a river as we pushed the other side all the way back was a very funny moment.
For me it was driving the jeeps and headbanging to the licensed soundtracks only to get killed by an rpg 😂
Yeah the music when you got in a chopper was epic!!!
I enjoyed BFV as well.
Requesting pickup ! Get in ! Get in ! Get in ! Get in ! Get in! :DevJB was kicked from the game:
My favorite code in BFV is the 'hitch'.. : )
The music was epic. Flying a Huey listening to the music
vietnam, u a real one with the chopper u could carry vehicles, and... napalm
That's what I miss the most! Playing with friends who enjoy the game! Last game I had that? Bf4.. Every game after just split up groups over and over again. Honestly surprised that there is still a community left.
my favorite BF game is BF3 the close quarters maps, the assignments, the maps and private servers all made it so much fun o and the Nukes in servers so you wont get spawn killed and idc what people say I loved Battlelog being able to track ur stats and assignments adjust ur outload on the app and having a Map open all the time on the website was amazing wish they kept it
This. BRING BACK BATTLELOG! I loved having the map open on my iPad. Changing loadouts on my phone. Etc.
There's still deathmatch only canals private servers up surprisingly. BF3 is the best in the series.
oh the beautyy of clse quarters and the destructions was so good.
BFBC2 and BF3 were the cream of the fps crop. Loved everything about both.
I cannot understand for the life of me, why it’s so hard going with what they know works.
Granted, those Devs have moved on from Dice, but still…. C’mon man!
4:18 was such a battlefield only moment
“The footsteps are like horses on cobbled streets” everyone, Jack is a poet who doesn’t know it
Bf3 close quarters was insane, my friend and I had incredible memories playing the close quarter maps in 2012 and 2013
My favorite was BFBC1. I will never forget raining down shells on the attackers side on Oasis using the artillery.
BF2142 was the first multiplayer I played, got me hooked and clanned up, still remember the rush of jumping behind cover when a walker is after you
BF3 was my overall favorite and the one i was both best at performance wise and had the most fun in that sandbox with. It had everything a game should have as far as content, progression and playstyles. It was a perfect blend of casual and competitive. Also a perfect blend of teamwork oriented but you could play solo and do well also.
BC2 rush on the snowy night map. What a time to be alive. Vietnam too.
Always love the comms and comedics between you three! Definitely a great entertainment value, whether hunt showdown or BF!
BFBC2 loading up the drone with c4. Good times.
Battlefield 3 during middle school, one of the happiest moments of my life
Bf4 was my favorite first person shooter of all time!! I wish we could have that again!!! It's simple the goat 🐐
2142 got me into the Battlefield games so that will always be my favorite
We just wanted battlefield 4s sequel
They did everything in their power to make it look like that for the trailer 😂😂
Not "we" but "I". Say for yourself.
Yep bf2042 is supposed to be a sequel to bf4.
@@jamesking232 no literally that's what every BF fan has wanted since BF4. and they made BF1 and BF5 before even making this failure.... DICE knows what we want and neglected it on purpose. They don't want their slaves being happy. That's the jest of it
Technically, it is story wise
The part where your buddy said “peanut butter and bread is like welding your mouth shut….”
That resonated with me 😂
Jack, my favorite was BF3. The first title I really played. Got me completely hooked. It's excellence is still unmatched!
BF1 operations….epic tussles, back and forth, the sounds, the horror and screams filled with tense moments
4:18 is the kinda moment that describes a real battlefield moment to me. Casually blowing up ppl with c4 and a plane or whatever flies over . It's the only sort of immersion we've got on 2042 though..
Bf3 back in 2012 was elite. People actually playing their roles and working together, people had mics, c4 recon drone trolling, hitting headshots with the m40a3 900 meters out stopping the enemy from pushing your team trying to cap an objective. The chaos of operation metro, the sky battles of operation firestorm, the sneaky bush crawlers of caspian border. Its a game ill never get over.
BF3 was so much fun, but had also the atmosphere. I loved that one the most
BF.BC2 was my first and my favorite. Almost every night me and my friends and coworkers use to play it after work. Some nights we were the full team. I had so much fun with C4 and making my own doors in buildings with a underbarrel grenade luncher. Great memories.
BFBC2! Will always be the game that hooked me! I was playing sniper class on conquest and I shoot the pilot out of a helicopter from a ways out and that moment will always stick with me!
This is the game that made me make the switch from COD / Modern warfare
@@MrJvelazquez77 same here!
BF2 had the best vehicle balance, a command structure that promoted better teamwork, and artillery strikes that made it feel more immersive as a battlefield. BF3 & 4 had the best destruction mechanics and are still unmatched in map quantity and variety.
2142 was my jam. Titan mode was fantastic. Nothing felt better than landing on someone with a drop prod or assaulting the titans core.
I miss playing with my boys! We are on early 30's, all of my team got married. We haven't got any chances to play again yet. Well, that's life. I love to see people enjoying BF with their friends as it was before. I enjoy watching you Jack! Thanks a lot.
BFBC 2. By far. Still play it. Good skillcap, fun maps, fun vehicles and balanced.
BF:BC2 - C4 on the M-COM. You could destroy the target without arming it. That was elite
Def BFBC2 and also the Vietnam DLC. Hoping for a BFBC3
1942. Playing with one of my best friends. I would spot for him at the enemy airfield with the B-17. He would be in our spawn in the Artillery (that there were no instructions for and no one really knew how to use) and we dialed in hitting the bomber on spawn full of peeps. We had a riot getting banned from so many servers just using the equipment as intended. Was reminiscing with a work friend today about how legendary that game was when it was released. There was nothing like it at the time, it was truely ground breaking. If I could go back in time 20 years there are alot of things in my life I would change but the OG Battlefield 1942 wouldn't be one of them. It was absolutely perfect.
Battlefield 4 for me, so many memories in that game. Poured over at least 100+ hours into it. Still remember the stress trying to complete the phantom program to get the phantom bow.
BF3 has a special place in my heart because I switched from CoD to BF3 and man there was a huge gap BF was so good compared to CoD back in the days, the feeling of destruction, of freedom, of sandbox, I remember coming back to school and waiting for my parents to let me play on their computer.
I have only played battlefield V, I and 2042 but I can safely say that the atmosphere in battlefield I and V are truly amazing. The campaigns were some of the best I have ever played. I remember the scene where you switch characters everytime you died. It really showed the horrors of war which is something that was really impressive to me
8:24 'Their footsteps like horses on cobbled streets' lol Jack - this truly sums up the 2042 sound design! Great vid. BF3/4 have my vote.
Favorite battlefield? BF1. Surely BF1.
The atmosphere is unmatched in my opinion, and most of the times well balanced. Today unfortunately many cheaters. But I love your videos for this game and would love to see a BF1 stream maybe or some games with your squad. Thank you for the content and everything mate.
Greetings from Germany.
Btw also liking your not so casual gameplays. Ranch simulator for example was hilarious.
I think this was one of my favorite videos. Well done
BFBC2 and BF3 always
BFBC2 was my favorite, think it was the first game that had rush mode. Only recently bought 2042 because they made rush a standard game mode again.
BF1 was my favorite. The cinematic experience of that game is unrivaled. My best gaming memories with friend came from BF1 and BFV.
Just hearing the soundtrack of BC2 at the end brought all that nostalgia back to life. Good lord, I REALLY miss the times of BFBC2, BF3 and even BF4. Especially the first two were my favorite BF games and I just wish to get to experience that again.
Still amazed by the fact that after all this time, the animations still look so choppy and have never been smoothed out...
Yeah the gameplay/gunplay also doesn’t feel fluid. It feels just as choppy as it looks.
Yeah going back to bf1/bf5 the difference is night and day.....
I really been enjoying 2042 alot lately. It is finally feeling like BF!!!
Favorite moment was BC2, Rush on Valpraiso. Our team quit, so it was just my friend and I in a 2v9. We strapped C4 to the blackhawk and the UAV and just kept hitting their MCOMs until destroyed. Ended up winning the match with that tactic. Went through dozens of choppers, we called it the most expensive assault in history.
Bro really said he’s never had a peanut butter and jelly
I remember i would switch between bc2 and bf3 so much during my ps3 days, something i would love to experience for the first time once more
BF3 Rush was my peak, then BF1 Operations, and BF1942 Conquest. Although, some of the BF campaigns are also some of my favourite nostalgic moments in gaming
My absolute favorite was Battlefield Vietnam on PC . Especially the the music in the vehicle’s and the feeling flying the helicopter through the jungle picking up your teammates, the rice fields that got pressed down from the downwind of the helicopters rotors…. Never had a better feeling like this again. Wish they would make a remake with the graphics from today and the Vietnam war music of then🙌
I can't believe it...I actually enjoyed BF2042 after some updates. Looking at Jack's gameplay, it looks just as fun as I played it...we need more of this.
Battlefield 1942 is my hands down favorite. I was among those without high speed internet access and the bulk of my gamer friends were playing doom. Omaha Beach and Monte Cassino (Road to Rome expansion) were two of my favorite maps. I have a good laugh today when players complain about BF maps being too large, tell them to play El Alamein in BF 1942. I have since switched from PC play to console, but still enjoy BF today. Thanks for the commentary and a reminder of why teamwork IS Battlefield.
BF3 was my first Battlefield and will always be my favorite. I'll always remember joining knife only TDM Canals servers and parkour-ing around the shipping crates
“Peanut butter and bread is simply welding your mouth shut” 🤣🤣🤣 gold.
I remember playing bf4 on golmud railway, my team was charging together towards a flag whilst the enemy where shooting at us. It felt like a movie and made me love the game so much
spent 7 years playing project reality mod for BF2 everyday. made memories, friends for life, and learned to speak english fluently. 2008 - 2015
Battlefield 3 goes down as my favorite because it was the first FPS that I ever played online and it was absolutely amazing getting the feel of actually playing against other people. Great times on the PS3. I still play BF 4, BF1, BFV, and 2042 on PS4 and I love all of them.
Favorite Battlefield game for me was: Battlefield 4. It was the first one I played daily with a set group of friends and it was incredible. From flying the attack chopper to ripping around in a Attack boat, always was a blast.
My very first vid I watched on your channel was you three playing Hell let loose. Love to watch you guys tear it up!
The introduction of the Pacific maps in BFV was elite… insane immersion, insane maps, insane player base, INSANE MECHANICS!
INSANE Hackers
And then the 2nd unwanted TTK change completely destroyed it
Charging enemy tanks with the poke poke, V2 rockets sending both you, your team and surviving enemy players flying back combined with those “FOR THE REPUBLIIIIC😂” moments when the whole team is moving forward in one massive attack force made BFV like a movie and my favourite BF experience.
CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE WON 👆🎉
2142 Titan Assault. The sight of the assault pods from the ground and the transports and the mad dash from the titan as it explodes around you still holds a place in my soul and makes me wish Dice would make 2143.
BfV was my absolute favorite. Everything just works great in that game!
Battlefield 3 close quarters shred machine I love that game I loved all those maps those close quarte maps
Who remembers hours of the BF3 beta on metro playing that rush from outside in the park, air striking the tunnel, and push through?
BF2 Kubra Dam... my roommates and I held the center flag for over half the round. We royally angered the other team and they kept trying to dislodge us. Friends, all the classes doing what they do best. It was amazing
Best one for me always will be the underdog, BF2142. Nothing like raiding a Titan in a tiny capsule from the ground or the air with a choper.
I must admit that I have only played BFV and the beta of BF2042, however I remember my first time playing breakthrough on Iwo Jima on BF5. Me and my squad pushed through the tunnels, smoking a reviving each other over and over, gaining inches against the enemies at a time. Eventually we won the round after the most hard fought battle I have ever played through, and my random squad mates displayed some of the best team work I have ever experienced in gaming. This coupled with many other moments means that BFV is one of my all time favourite games, if not my favourite.
Been playing BF since 1942, through the Desert Combat mod onto BF2 and every BF game since. I was a founding admin of a popular BF clan back in the day of clan servers - 50klicks - some of you may have played with us back then. Fun times! :)
BFBC2. The first time seeing a tank drive through a house blew my mind. It was also my first online experience on the playstation, so playing with other people was insane too
At the end, BF4 was the most complete and objectively the best, but BF1 was such a crazy experience that I don’t think can ever be replicated again. So much fun.
1942 for me originally and now I still play bf4 / BfV and thinking about BF1 with its cinematic battles that would always blow my mind I miss the days of incredible gameplay in open maps with classes
I’ve hated sniping on bf2042 something about that first sniper gun I didn’t like. This latest update added the GOL Sniper and man that gun is saucy. No attachments or camos sucks but the rate of fire and clean scope make up for it.
Battlefield 3 made me a fan of the series. It was a graphical achievement that ran smoothly even on PS3. It hits the nostalgia spot every time.
When the blimp comes down in bf1 is still as amazing today as it was the first time i saw it. Bf4 was my fave for them only in bf moments, but bf1 was great fun and so beautiful.
The legendary squad of hell let loose when you guys play, its legendary
BF 1942 I ran a Team Speak server and hosted our clans private BF server. I met a bunch of great people do to that and I don't think I'll ever have that experience again. Clan vs clan matches were some of the best BF ever.
BF3 was my favorite Battlefield, but I played Battlefield 2 the most as I was involved in a tournament with tons of people and loved every second of it.
Battlefield 4 had SO much f**king soul.... God that game was a gem. I miss it so much 😢. I wanted the latest battlefield to have even a pinch of that feel....
Welp. Time to open up the download manager.
My favorite was battlefield 2. LAN parties was a blast to play with friends during weekends and holidays.... All that is nothing but memories now.
2142 still has a place in my heart... even after 16 years
Amen to that!
Amen. Titan mode is one of the best FPS modes the franchise has ever done.
The squad play in bf 2042 is also amazing
I miss that game so much 😢!
the titan assaults landing on the little pods was some of the most fun i've ever had lol.
Battlefield 3 on Hardcore. You´re always on your toes and alert. Pulse are high. Total immersion.
"The PP feels good today." That's hilarious Jack! Battlefield 1942 started it all for me. Been a huge fan since.
CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE WON 👆🎉
1:31 "The pp feels good today!" is my new favorite quote from Jack
BC2 is where I started… they told me If he’s camping blow the building away… it was love at first sight 💯
Bf3 introduced me to the franchise, bf4 made me love it and be my fav of all and bf1 had the best moments with my friends
Battlefield 2142. Titan games were amazing and there has been nothing like it since. Using the titans weapons to rain down death from above, using the different vehicles to get around to the missile platforms to down the shields on an enemy Titan or setting up a defensive line on your own teams Titan to stop the boarders from destroying your reactor.
pb&j are the poor mans mainstay and a childhood favorite.. and they are just plain good
"ohh the PP feels good today"
- Jackfrags 2022
Bf3 was my favorite. The tone of the entire game, the voicelines, the destruction, the maps, the teamplay. In my opinion it's the best (modern) battlefield. For the historical BF titles, BF1 takes the crown.
