Man, I really hope DICE will put a lot more content for Portal.
lets just hope they can make the game work properly before anything.
It's gonna be up to the community, they just need to give us all the tools.
I think it probably will, if dice sorts themselves out. They did say Portal would be a continuously updated experience, full with content from every bf game.

Fun thing for everyone to try. Since the hovercraft partly flies, you can drive forward and backwards in the air, which means if there's a storm you can pretty much fly crossmap on it

Go upsidedown mid air with the hovercraft and you can basically fly in the air forever if done right. Done it accidentally a couple of times on orbital

Rush is great on the new maps. Never understand why it wasn't a permanent mode on the later BF's.

They gotta update the points gained for marksman headshots man. 1xp for every meter, just like bf4. Made long distance sniping that much more enjoyable.

That kinda promotes camping though. You should be rewarded for PTFO not sitting at the back of the map taking shots on guys 600m away.
@@KarlwithaC I mean it hardly matters. They aren't contributing a whole lot anyway, but hitting a long range shot should be rewarded with comparable points, camping or not.

Vehicle was way more op in bf4 for sure since everyone can carry aa now in bf2042
Remember the days of Bf1 when you put mines behind a tank and blow it with the granades? The skill was getting to the tank, or be aware as tanker, not the team play. Good times.
I just really can't get over the fact there is no game chat. That's killing it for soooooooo many people. Finding new peeps to play with and just have comms or play with your friends crossplaform is much needed.

You mean VoIP? They need to make a new one. It was always just for the squad. It would be better if you could pick between squad and proximity one.
There's team chat and BF only ever had squad VOIP. I don't miss all chat, it was only for trolling, there was no tactical reason for it to exist. Any important messages from your team would just get buried in an avalanche of trolling with 128 people per match.
@@Neravine not only that but no one ever used the squad voip. Even back in BF4, no one ever uses it so why people want it I have no idea.
The only thing I want them to re-think is the forced matchmaking. Sometimes you get into really good games where the teams are pretty evened up and its an actual fight till the end, I want those servers to stay up and I want to stay with those groups, I dont want to be forced into matchmaking.

What’s really upsetting is the fact we seen so much destruction with levelation sky scrapers falling/dams collapsing/ massive satellites falling. The maps seem rushed and nothing compared to a DECADE ago? This is truly upsetting as a massive battlefield fan. The map immersion just doesn’t feel the same. At all..
They boasted about next level destruction and destroying entire cities with photo realisitic character models when they revealed the first information about the game. We got the worst destruction ever and specialists that look like this > 👁👄👁
Yes, I've been upset about this for the past few games. Apparently it was something "the community" complained about after bfbc2, that it had "too much" destruction, and they've been toning it down ever since. I always wondered, which community? Destruction and the changing battlefield is what makes BF a BF game, to me at least. If we had stuck with bf4 era graphics, but had double the destruction granularity, I would be happy.
I wish we knew where those 3 years of development went. Probably to Hazard Zone idk
DICE gave up their dignity long ago.

The thing about BF and other multiplayer games, is that you really need a friend(s) to play with. If you’re solo, the experience is much more isolating and bland.
No. Basic features not present in 2042 makes it isolating for a solo player…
Playing any other bf is still fun solo
There's some truth to this...the game is still a hot pile but playing with a buddy or two can definitely improve the fun factor
Yeah, although you def can have a hand in it by how you spawn and play. Being a medic/pilot or gunner, and spawning in hot zones def elevate the feeling of being connected to the team and fight.

I truly enjoy the sniping in BF1 and especially in BFV. So I was disappointed with BF 2042's initial stlye of snipes in the game but after the last patch regarding the hit registration. The sniping in BF 2042 feels amazing. Although admittedly, aim assist still needs some minor tweaking. Overall, it's rather satisfying...DXR-1 😍

Unlocked the bolte 30mm today, genuinely felt like I was farming bots, it’s so OP 😂.
I think they nerfed it or lowered the hitboxes for player. It used to wipe out parachutists and choppers from long range, it was just insane. I'm glad it's less effective.
Then you would have enjoyed yourself even more pre patch

From what I’ve gathered the maps are like so big and open it’s almost as if they planned a tank battle Royal then scrapped the idea halfway, infact based on a lot of the things they added and removed in terms of squads, matchmaking, game chat, map design and the whole specialists thing, it’s looks a lot like they scrapped a battle royal halfway and made this instead

Man, I wish more could go into the game with less of a competitive mindset and more of a "try to have fun" mindset.
So I play a lot of the solo co op mode in the all out warfare
Not only am I getting unlocks, but I get stability, and I get to see the Russian and US armies Duke it out. I've had a blast.
Learned how to fly Helos a lot, gotten tons of kills and frankly I just love them.
Same dude. This is suppose to be a sandbox not some sweaty Hardcore tactical shooter. Just get home at the end of the day and chill out taking people out!
@@mikeycrackson Rubbish, most (if not all) people who play this game do so to have fun. People laughing and thinking Jack is just having fun as he rides around in a broken vehicle killing and running people over don't think that person who got run over also just wanted to have fun. In their head Jack is the sweaty player.

Still feel like Sundance’s needs to pull her chute to land. Her landing however she wants at any speed is cheap mechanic. And not to mention her “anti gravity rocket propelled magnetic homing grenades.”
Dude she cant land at any speed thats how I know you doint mian her. If you come in to fas you instantly die. Jack got lucky their tbh. I have died so many times gliding at speed to land and die in-front of the enemy. You lot would find anything to complain about, bloddy bots.
I personally feel Sundance is a little OP too, anti anything grenades and a wingsuit to me is a bit much. First thought right when I saw her revealed too, that ‘nade auto going towards a chopper I was like aw hell no

This latest update gives me hope that they will become one of the greatest battlefield games of all time. Portal mode has so much potential. PS5 version runs very smooth.

I'm glad you're having fun. As a long time Battlefield mega fan, I've been having an awful time playing the game. Every map is complete chaos with no cover for infantry. The vehicles are extremely overpowered and there are way too many of them. The game has not been very fun so far
Play rush. It’s great. Been having so much more fun in that mode

They "fixed" it a bit în Update #3 and are Gonna work on it more in the future. Update #4 coming later în December will have some improvements for it

playing 42 is alot like shitting the bed.
There’s a lot of disappointing things about this game. But the thing I miss the most is destructability, it’s not nearly as integrated in the maps or as smooth of an experience as past titles. Even the remade portal maps have more destructible buildings and structures than the base game.
Which is mind boggling how open and empty the base 2042 maps are. They could sprinkle in fully destructible houses and warehouses into current maps that provide extra cover, until they get obliterated.
