totally agree with you about Waypoints being my favorite feature so far... I'm still learning the drone of course but waypoints are really cool.. I really like the RC2 controller, also. It's so quick to just pop the controller and drone out of the case and get ready to fly. No fiddling with a phone or other device. It's awesome!
It is a pretty good controller and I’m sure DJI learned well from the original RC. Yes I agree Kevin it’s much quicker to set up and get flying 👍 stay safe brother
Yes very cool features definitely but depending what you are about. I love my m3 with standard videos. When the time comes I'll join you in the m4. Stay blessed and safe all the time Amen. Keep up updating bro. Welbeck here from Accra Ghana West Africa
Brilliant Nobby, your spot on mate. Great little drones the 4 and the 3 like you say. Just a note , I've been flying my air 3 and mavic 3 a lot during this cold sunny weather we have had and oh boy those two drones are magnificent. 😊😊😊
@@nobby-green no I sold the Mini 3 pro just before the Mini 4 pro was released I then purchased the Mini 2 se which I still have fantastic little drone and then I noticed on the DJI website a refurbished Mini 3 same camera has the Mini 3 pro and 4 correct me if I am wrong plus 12 months warranty £279 and I am still in profit from the Mini 3 pro sale so I am a happy chap.
My first drone was the Mini 2. It is a good solidly built drone and a good drone for learning "how-to" fly a drone. It takes good footage and is fun to fly. As most know, it does not have the obstacle avoidance and other features of the Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro. I wanted to upgrade. I came very close to upgrading to the Mini 3 Pro. But when I heard the Mini 4 Pro was on the way, I waited. I am glad I did. I absolutely love the drone. I know that the Mini 3 Pro is a great drone as well. Thank you for sharing. 🙏
Thanks for restating what has been said so many times before. Was looking for your personal user experience but got a well-known run-down on well-known specs.
Good review/update Nobby. I have a Mavic 2 pro and a Mini 3 pro. My big reservation about updating to any other drone is solely down to uncertainty regarding any future regulations and restrictions. Re new models were not really seeing groundbreaking innovations more light updates with DJI mirroring the mobile phone world. It’d make sense for them to look at the mobile phone model where you pay a fixed monthly fee with an option to trade in and upgrade every couple of years.
Hey Paul. Two nice drones and I get your point of the uncertainty of regulations. There is a lot of people on the fence with it. The suggestion of trade ins could be a smart move for DJI 👍 thanks 🙏
Great review, Nobby. I have the Mini 3 Pro and the Air 3, so a Mini 4 Pro is not in the future for me. Given the small price difference I think that those buying a mini drone should go with the M4 Pro rather than the M3 Pro. Cheers from a very frigid Wisconsin, U.S.A. my friend.
@@nobby-green I also have the Mini 2 which I like to fly on its own and with Waypoints with the Maven App. Keep up the great work, Nobby. I have learned many, many things from you since I began flying in February of 2022. Best wishes.

I just sold my Mini 2 and bought the Mini 3, wow it flies nicer, better video quality, quiter in the air, and takes the awesome PLUS battery 👍👍
Nothing wrong with the mini 3 and the pro. Excellent upgrade if you ask me 👍
Went from the Mini 2 to the 4, No looking back to be honest. The 2 was/is good but the 4 just does it so much better.
