Amit Arora whoever in charge of marketing at Uniqlo is either a genius, which I doubt it, or the dumbest guy. It seems it’s a no brainer to put RF logo on their merchandise.
Harry, if you see Bad Brad from next door, tell him a Foothill player from Coach Chivi's team say Hi! We used to hit with him @ Foothill in during the '85 season when he dropped in to work with The Coach.
Sorry my English is not good. Did you said that shoes can be choice true size? Or need to choice bigger half than true size? How does its size compare to stan smith? Many thanks.
Haha this video let me figure out where the store is. It's called brad gilbert tennis nation. Dunno why you distance the tennis spin channel from the store
I totally agree! It drives me crazy that he never mentions his name, the store name, or even what part of the country he is in. Seems like the most basic element you would mention, especially if you want to connect with fans and/or drive business. Hello my name is...?
I always buy last year model shoes for 40+% off. Can’t justify the hype of new release pricing. Big fan of older model Barricades. Don’t care about the name; just want comfort and protection. 👍
I think it's funny people criticizing Federer's performances when he came back. He beat Evans, who, just a month before, won an ATP title & has played at a great level all year, in his first competitive match in 14 months after double knee surgery at 39 lol. No exhibitions or ATP Cup warmups, etc. Right into it with a damn good player and somehow got a win. Next match he had match points against Basilashvili. People criticized that loss. Then, as it turned out, Basilashvili was red hot & won the entire tournament, beating the brakes off Bautista Agut in the final. That guy was hitting absolute rockets and painting lines. Turns out that wasn't such a bad match either lol. His movement, timing, etc, will all get better as he gets his body back in playing form (which can only happen by playing), but as for those matches, to play at even that level after such a long layoff is very promising in my opinion. He's not going anywhere. He's said he wants to play for years yet, believes he can & was very inspired by Tom Brady's performance this year at age 43 winning the Super Bowl. I'm sure his sponsors would love it too. Just needs to take extra good care of his body and adapt his game and his schedule to make sure he maximizes his opportunities while maintaining his health.
There is always going to be haters ,just ignore them . As a die hard Roger fan I am just glad that he didn’t give up and keep trying to return to the game. Honestly this guy had earned so much that he could retire years ago , but he still choose to keep going ,it just shows how much love and passion he has for tennis.
selling out fast is a good move on their end. nike does this every saturday by making a super limited supply of jordans and it keeps the interest and marketing through the roof of their brand. it makes each drop a guaranteed hype machine and then even a crap design will sell out
I think you messed up your numbers. It was a $300 million ten year deal with Uniqlo. That being said, it makes no sense to me why they would sign one of the most marketable tennis players and not be prepared for the demand that they're going to get. It's every release this seems to be the case.
It's to create hype. Nike does the same thing, where they release limited editions of shoes all the time that get sold out really quickly and then fetch high prices on the used market. By keeping these limited and rare, uniqlo creates more excitement around the releases and then that attention can also translate into their other products, which sell at much much higher volumes.
Those are LuluLemon. He mentioned them in a previous “best buy” video. I own some as well. Probably the best wearing and darn near indestructible joggers and overall gear that I own. Expensive but worth the investment.
Ah. Makes sense. Roger made what I thought was an interesting remark in a recent interview when he said engineering a tennis shoe is almost as complicated as engineering a racquet. I wondered how he would know that. Well, as a part owner of a shoe company, I’m sure he’s privy to all their trade secrets.
Uniqlo deal with Federer reportedly pays him 30 million a year for 10 years, a total value of 300 million.
Still think Uniqlo should make more merchandise with RF logo on it.
They can't currently. The rights still reside with Nike
Vibhan Victor Federer got the right back already. Uniqlo has RF cap ( see the video) and sold out in 5 min.
They should. And also stop the blatant RF fakes made by Uniglow.
Especially since they are apparently paying him £300 million on his contract.
Amit Arora whoever in charge of marketing at Uniqlo is either a genius, which I doubt it, or the dumbest guy. It seems it’s a no brainer to put RF logo on their merchandise.
got the first edition of this shoe in pure white. They are incredibly cool and comfortable.
i think this video got lost in the shuffle when you posted 2 videos yesterday(apparent by the view count). i only noticed it today.
Federer's PRO model should be available to the public, it is a great-looking tennis shoe.
They are available, they just cost $199
@@96alpha46 where can we purchase a pair of this?
Fast forward to 8 minutes for the actual talk on the shoes 🤦🏽♂️
You did gods work brother
Neat. Got a pair and it looks like a hybrid of the stan smith and the jordan 2 low. Classy sneakers all.
I wish Nike would do a rerelease of the Air Oscillate...ebay prices are ridiculous
Harry, if you see Bad Brad from next door, tell him a Foothill player from Coach Chivi's team say Hi! We used to hit with him @ Foothill in during the '85 season when he dropped in to work with The Coach.
i enjoyed the stroll around the plaza
Wow! My old stomping grounds. I hope the parking is easier
Simply a great review!
Sorry my English is not good. Did you said that shoes can be choice true size? Or need to choice bigger half than true size? How does its size compare to stan smith?

They look playable -should get one of the kids to try these for a gentle(or not!) practice session
Would you recommend these for play?
I know this is super late but just to be clear, Roger isn't getting just 10mill from his UniQlo deal. Apparently it's a 10 year deal worth $300mill!
Does OnCloud have a Tennis sneaker you can use on the courts to play Tennis?
Haha this video let me figure out where the store is. It's called brad gilbert tennis nation. Dunno why you distance the tennis spin channel from the store

Is it for tennis plays?>

You forgot to swing weight them!. ... and a Nike blue sweater -11:30 - over Uniqlo shirt - Roger would be mad.
What’s a Uniglow?

The uniqlo stores I’ve been to carry like 1 or 2 Federer items. Not a good selection

I thought I was the only one with bad left foot
We are all the same apparently
My left foot always gives me trouble
Read their running shoes are more fashion oriented than performance focused.
What brand of joggers are you wearing?
Those are LuluLemon. He mentioned them in a previous “best buy” video. I own some as well. Probably the best wearing and darn near indestructible joggers and overall gear that I own. Expensive but worth the investment.
That scale is well used!!
Since you play tennis so much
Why do you waddle when you walk?
Not making fun just curious
Nike definitely paid for a few of Rodgers houses over the years, so of course he wore them. But Nike shoes are str8 trash.
Way too light to be supportive enough? I'll wait for The Foot Doctor review.
They look so crap cheap.
Terrible looking SHOE..
Tennis Spin cussed!!
7:47 On's casual shoes not for tennis
lol just footage of him strolling
A cheap non performance non leather sneaker to chill in for a very high price. No thanks. I do like the tennis shorts and tennis shirts.
300,000,000
10 million dollars? He got 300 million dollars for 10 years
in other words old man walking shoes... pass.
$139.99

hideous. but lighter than rf's racket
Comment below if you're gay.
Bruh... and Nike takes a couple of seconds and Adidas takes a minute or two 🙄🤦🏾♂️
Walking shoes....
Speak too much !!!!!!
going to war with Nike is not smart.
Ugly shoes
