    I’m on my 3rd set! The new 35x12.5x20 m/t are now M/t 2.0 . Best freaking tire on the market. Love them on my mega cab 2500! 17 months of Highway use 65,789 miles on my last set!

    Loved the MT's. Wanted a more road capable but also hunting, etc and turned to the XT's. They are awesome and have the best snow grip I've ever had with a hybrid / all terrain tire.

    I run the Patagonia mt and absolutely love them, they out preformed most tires I've used in the past.

    Installed some 285/65/18s on my brothers Touareg and they perform amazingly. Surprisingly quiet on road and amazing snow traction. And I really like the fact that they have a lip protector

    Running 275/65/20 Patagonia XT’s on Chevy Trailboss. About 10k and no complaints. Much quieter than stock tires, seem to be wearing well.

    • @dewaltcane

      @@giobarajas3654 I didn’t have any issues. Only complaint is they’re much louder now compared to being very quiet initially…..but I haven’t rotated them like I should have. They seem to be wearing fine considering.

      @giobarajas3654 mine were hard for the tire tech to balance, but theu were eventually able to get it right. No issues on or offroad at this point with about 10k miles on them and a couple of rotations done.

    Still waiting for someone to do an actual "hands on" snow review of these tires. Tire designs & specs look great on paper, but sometimes those advertising points fall short in real life.

    I have used the Milestar Patagonia MT....It was a bit noisier than I expected (Yes I do know MT's are noisier than street tires) from this MT and I had an issue keeping them balanced...after about 500 miles or so they would shake at about 60mph and I would need to rebalance them. I would rather pay more money for a less annoying time driving...I sold the vehicle that they were on and went with the R/G's...They did do well in the rain and snow though, and maybe I will try these next...I appreciate your time.

    Only got 35k or so out of my ridge grapplers , I want to go from 20s to 24s later so I just wanted a cheap tire and discount has these in F load range 37x12.5R20 for $1450 vs $2800 for the nittos. I think I’ll try them out

    • @DiscordCriminal
      @DiscordCriminal 8 місяців тому

      I ended up getting falken AT3Ws because they only had 2 of the patagonias in Texas and I didn’t want to wait. $350 more so hopefully they are good. $1800 better get me at least 30k

    I do like these but they should have made them just a bit more aggressive. Unless the price is super low I don’t think I’d give up the look of my Kenda klever rt tires.

      Sidewall is bland. It's honestly what sells the crap out of the Ridge Grappler. It's what had me buy mine...and immediately regret it because loud and wobbly is all the Nittos are.

    I see on Milestars site they have a 275/80/17. Can you get this size and what’s the cost? This size would be perfect for my build and I have a set of Patagonia MT’s with over 75k miles on them. Have been the best tires I’ve ever had for wear and function.

    What are you seeing as far as tread life on these vs the MT. I have run the MT exclusively for years on my 1 ton trucks but rarely off-road in them. Wanted to run xt on my last set but out of stock. Almost time for a new set so I’m at a crossroads.

      How do the AT/Rs handle and such? Is road noise pretty minimal?

    • @tripifi
      @tripifi 6 місяців тому

      @SpartanJRT3 it's nor horrible, but my 275s are pretty high pitched. They handle pavent and rock fine. Decent in packed dirt, usable in loose dirt and sand. But definitely leave a lot to be desired once mud is added to the equation

    • @tripifi
      @tripifi 6 місяців тому

      @SpartanJRT3 but I'm honestly thinking about going for the more expensive route. Personally looking at Open Country R/T trails. Always had top tier experiences with Toyo and Nitto in the street tire market, and it seems to translate well off road

  • @NigelNaughton

    Not bad but not a lof of reviews and real world tests yet compartively. I think the same size Falken AT3W will be a lot better. Better warranty, less weight, tried and tested and for 4 tires only a little more than $100 more.

      The AT3W’s were good for 25k miles. @25k they had 70%~ tread left- but SO Noisy, and wet condition traction is sketchy at best… went from a love to a greatly dislike with the At3W…. And I rotated these every 5k miles 🤷🏽‍♂️
      Just ordered some 37” XT’s 🤷🏽‍♂️ hope they are half decent.

    Hey guys. I know nothing about Offroad tires and would appreciate your feedback. I own a 2019 Mercedes 2500 Sprinter 4x4. I run BFGoodrich K02’s which I am not happy with. I don’t do much off-roading but do travel cross country in inclement weather. My van weights 9000lbs when not under load and around 9600lbs when loaded. Would you recommend the Milestar Patagonia XT? Currently running LT275/70R17 at 60 PSI.
    Thank you.

      Lots of good tires for your vehicle. Michelin MS2 Defender are super. Quiet, lownrolling resistance, and really great in the rain and light snow. Michelin AT2 is not really an all terrain but an aggressive all season. Great in the rain snd light snow. I had no problem getting through 3-4 inches of snow. I'm not running Cooper AT3 XLT. 3 peak snow flak rated. Quiet, no roar, and great in the rain and snow. Also capable of off road.
      Look at Yokohama G015 all terrain. Seems to be really and 3 peak mountain snow flake rated too. Being 9,000 unloved and close to 10,000 loaded, Consider 12 ply F load rating. They are ot available in all brands but will support your van better than just a 10 ply E rating.

    • @cortlundtowell5252
      @cortlundtowell5252 2 роки тому +2

      i wouldn't think so. these hybrid tires are more for Overlanding/Mild Offroading. if the majority of your driving is highway/sub optimal road conditions, i would recommend a good A/T tire or a triple snowpeak rated H/T tire. I personally prefer yokohama when it comes to A/T and H/T tire. hybrids and M/t tire i usually go with Milestar Patagonia or Kenda Kleaver. I know im going to abuse them so the best performance i can get for my budget while ensuring i can get a spare as well.
      edit: I'm running Yokohama G015 A/Ts on my 3500 NV van. they perform great in any weather condition and have quite the load rating. they tow great as well.
