just recorded 40 mins straight out and the VUZE was flawless.. It got pretty hot, but no overheating problems and memory card issues. I use for mostly 180 3D and its pretty good.. no complaints other than those you list here.. manual settings, stabilisation etc
thanks for the video, looking at a getting a 3d camera, has the stabilization issue been resolved on this do you know? it just looks like a handy size for carrying everywhere. thanks and keep up the good work.
How much are replacement batteries? Or does it have a power jack´? Or is it only good for the life of the batteries then you simply throw it away since it wont work anymore? how many cycles of snapping the lenses open before they break off?
Agree with you on the crappy stabalization options. On the Mirage VR camera it's shake and horizon together automatically when the oculus gallery app reads the stabalization track metadata. No idea why we can't have both and hope they address this.
On the stabilization: You can use the Vuze XR with any stitching suite and your software's stabilization algorithm to it right? Are you bound to their proprietary solution for stabilization? I imagine an Adobe plugin that specializes in 360 stabilization is preferable because it can focus on implementing the state-of-the-art and is more hand-tuneable.
@@The360Guy Thanks for the reply, I might get this one over the Insta360 One X then. Any idea how the 360 RAW files of the Vuze XR compare to the One X?
I cant preview my recorded videos in app. It doesnt give you the option to download to phone. Only photos. No editing in app. Im guessing i have to "do something" to videos on a cpu before previewing. Not sure why i cant preview recorded videos in app. Sucks. No zoom either. Any suggestions? User manual non existant...
I saw the comparison video about insta 360 one x and this cam. The insta 360 one x has more details when zoom in all the way while the vuze XR looks blur compare to the one x. From the bit rate you can tell, the one x is at 100 mega bits per second in average vs vuze XR is 85. The evo is not mainly for 360 because of there is a very big gap between two lenses, you need to keep things far from the camera to hide the stitching line. If you are planing to do 180 and 360, this one should be the best to go. I don't have a 3D goggle, that will add up my budget, so I got the insta 360 one x.
Thanks for the review, appreciate. A friend of mine and I want to film music performances in 180/VR and the one camera that has been recommended (the ZCAM K1 Pro) cost $2900. This camera has been mentioned a couple of times as a good entry camera. One question though, if you don't mind: we need to have titles, production, and end credits for the video. Does anyone know if the Vuze VR Studio offer that option? Or, do we need to buy something like Adobe for that? Thanks!!!
Thanks for the review, might think about getting this for the 3d as I already have the fusion for 360. How is the stabilization when moving and shooting in 3d?
you prolly dont give a shit but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Sterling Ayden thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
It is as if the whole tech community is reading in a teleprompter, does this shoot 2x 5.7K, like is it 5.7k in both cameras or is it the combined resolution? Not a single video addresses this. It is like that 3D 360 that claims 8K and it actually is 8 cameras of HP 1080p, so it is 4 cameras per eye for 1080p each for a combined resolution of 4K per eye.
Hi Daniel, actually you were one of the guys having brought me to the XR when you did the preview last year... Couldn't wait till you reviewed it and bought the XR already 🤓 Thanks for your great videos, keep it up! However, I haven't worked with stuff like Mistika VR or anything the likes, but stabilization is not sooo bad at all. It's certainly enough for skiing to watch in 3D180 on a VR headset while keeping your lunch in, especially since the latest update: ua-cam.com/video/o4jjhl6hsUE/v-deo.html What do you think? Cheers from Germany
Everyone should know that as of 27feb2019 u can.t actually upload 360 photos taken with the vuze xr via your phone to facebook - facebook won.t recognise it as a 360 photo and will display as a flat skewed image - an epic fail for a 360 camera in 2019. Maybe one day they.ll fix it with an update but till then buyer beware
@@The360Guy was it using ur computer or via ur phone? I.m on android and myself and several others have been unable to do it using the vuze app, facebook puts up a skewed photo it doesn.t recognise it as a 360 photo

Mark Harvey just to make sure you mean 180 3D like for VR??
never really played around with 360 cameras! but that one looks a lot of fun :)
Hi Daniel, love the video, would you recommend this for real estate 360 needs such as matterport ? Thank!
Can you charge while shooting?
looking at this thing on marketplace thanks for the video review!
why was it discontinued. So hard to find now. Must of sold very few.

Which model is the best 360 camera in 2020 (video quality, easy file creation etc)? Thanks

Yeah you can use another program to add stabilization, but would be good if the camera could just do it itself

Can it capture video from the front and back at the same time?
Dose it work for recording soccer games?

stitching looks terrible... :'(
Could you put a time at when you think the stitching looks bad?
