I’m looking to get a 2014-2015 cla 45 amg used with 60k miles on it, maintaining wise, is it reliable and cheap to fix? Will it last for another 5 years? Thank you man
i had mine for 3 years and i did overall spend several thousands : repairs aren’t too cheap and i’ve also noticed depending on condition of ur used cla it either runs great and has barely any issues or you get one that has full issues and wasn’t taken care of . i was suprised when other cla owners said how unreliable there car was when mine was so good to me but it all depends . i would say the repairs are more expensive then average cars and warranty it recommended if possible unless you want to mod it . it costs at least 5k in a year especially brakes and tires cost a lot too like the brakes were 600 by them selves for all 4 but i can make an in depth review video if you want
not sure if this comment will do anything since its pretty late but i just hit 85k on my 2014 cla 45. had to get the turbo replaced at 80k miles which from what ive heard is pretty common. some start to fail around 75k miles, mine was one of them. the turbo straight from mercedes was quoted at $3,300 USD, i decided to take the opportunity to get an aftermarket one put in. the turbo failing was the only "big" repair that i had to do to my car, it has been great otherwise.
@@raa9667one turbo repair is cheaper than a EV battery repair or replacement. Or buying a new car 30-40k non brand. I’ll take turbo 2-3k replacement easy then over 30-40k payment 5 year+ interest rate.
@@GangMilk222 it started with a loss of power during accelerations. then i noticed a change in sound, the turbo started whistling. a couple days later I got a check engine light and decided to run the code. turned out to be a P0299 which is a low boost fault. i ended up replacing the turbo shortly after. no smoke coming out of the exhaust, no leaks, just the whistling from the turbo and the loss of acceleration from the low boost. i didn’t drive the car much after i noticed something was wrong with it.
i appreciate you posting your mods
ofc man !

@@raa9667 ay I have the same car, what signs did you notice that indicated the turbo was failing?

How much was the diffuser?
it was like 370
It rides harsh due to low profile tires
How many miles it has ?
now at 100k
Why wouldn’t you keep the car?!
it’s about time to upgrade. it’s been a few years and there’s a few other reasons as well i do love the car and don’t want to let it go though
After 3 yes bordem sets in
where you buy the carbon gas cover?
it was ebay i believe.. the quality wasn’t the best for that one
