There is absolutely no way she had 2 black eyes, a broken nose, and a split lip. No amount of makeup in the world would hide that, not to mention the swelling. And her facial movement and smiling would have been severely limited due to pain. Absolute lies.

Absolutely. I’ve rescued a neighbor from a severe DV situation at the hands of her boyfriend, and she experienced injuries similar to what Amber is claiming, expect her face was extremely deformed, swollen and purple. It was a truly terrifying sight. Even aside from the physical violence, her boyfriend would do horrible things like lock her out of the apartment and make her sleep outside or show up to her job and just watch her. The fact that Amber’s lying and claiming such severe injuries, not only shows how despicable she is for taking the necessary spotlight from real DV victims- including Johnny Depp- but also how out of touch she is with domestic violence in general. What a horrible human.
Her claim about all the blood from having clumps of her hair yanked out, tells me that's another experience she's never had. Yanking out even a fistful of hair just doesn't result in bleeding. And what's pulled out doesn't look anything like her picture of a scraggly mass cleaned from her hair brush!

I know stage makeup is quite thick , but no foundation I know of will cover that up and she always looks flawless.
She just testified that she would cover bruises by putting color corrector ON TOP of her concealer and foundation. Anyone that has actually used color corrector would know that you put it under your concealer and foundation. This is such a big indication that she’s lying. If she really used it so often to cover bruises then she would know the proper way to apply it. Nobody would put green/yellow pigment on top of foundation and concealer.

Anyone who has ever worn makeup knows TINTED MOISTURIZER WILL NOT COVER BRUISES, and color corrector goes under you base! Unless, of course, you’re trying to create a bruise as opposed to concealing it!
Not defending Amber in any way, but that just isn’t true that “anyone who has ever worn makeup” would know either of those things. I wear makeup but have never attempted to conceal a bruise, and so I have no idea what does or doesn’t conceal them. I’m also not sure what you even mean by the second statement (I wear basic makeup so your terms throw me off).
@@_natashav_ she means the color corrector AH mentions with the green and orange colors, you have to apply BEFORE ur foundation which is the color of ur skin and goes all over your face that way the undertones neutralize. If you apply color corrector AFTER foundation, it will just leave green or orange on ur face lol hope that makes sense.

I also find it interesting that in the pics where her arms were scratched she had her arms up almost like she was showing them off. She also slipped up about the threatre bruise kit that is use to make fake bruises. That part could just be a conspiracy, but regardless it's just funny how everyone said they never saw him hit her and she has previous abuse charges. She was even caught telling him pretty much no one would believe him because he's a man and she's a woman. Idk it's just weird how there's a history and how overly she explained this, but still couldn't get the steps right.

The “bruise kit” is a color correcting kit, so if you want to correct the colors from the bruises you would need to put it under the foundation and concealer

Also the way she talks about everything , I’ve seen traumatized people talk about their trauma in 2 ways , first one not emotional at all because they mentally block it out it’s a form of subconscious protection , and the second one they’re really emotional that they can’t go on to talk about it or show signs of struggle like not being able to look at the abuser , I have never seen someone literally be in between , she’s always in this weird limbo and when she does get “emotional “ there are no tears or signs of any actual sadness

As a special effects makeup artist I’m like girl, You correct the color of you bruise by using complementary colors, AND THEN match it up with ur skin color by using foundation or concealer on top. She also made the point that bruises on your face heal faster, which is COMPLETELY FALSE. The skin is thinner on your face than it is on, say, your knees or stomach. The entire healing process would be visible on your face and less on your body because the blood vessels are closer to the skin. She also failed to mention what happens to older bruises. This is kind of important cuz she went to file a restraining order 6 days after the “incident”. The bruises should have not been red or purple but instead show shades of green and yellow. This girl knows nothing of abuse or even the science of bruising.

@@skaania I agree. You’re completely right. The reason I brought it up was to point out that’s it’s impossible for bruising to heal in two days. It takes at least two weeks… on top of that she never mentions the yellowish greenish bruising that lasts far longer than the purple and red she was eager to explain. I just found it a little weird for her not to mention sit. And what she did mention was impossible.
The product she mention was Milani and they released a statement that product wasn’t released until 2017, which was after the so called incident.

Also, the company of the makeup she claimed to have used previously in court (Milani) stated the palette she claimed to have used came out after their divorce. I believe her that it was her bruise kit, but she used it to apply bruises, not hide them. I've had my nose broken 3 times in my life, no amount of makeup can hide the damage, the bruising would be difficult enough to hide, but the swelling would be impossible. It's clear from the pictures showing her the in the days after that she most certainly did not have the injuries she claimed.

As a former professsional makeup artist that has a hollywood level professional makeup artist in my family... you don't put color correction on after you put on the foundation... if you don't, then the color you're trying to use to cover the bruise etc will just sit on top.... so... she's lying.

Usually when trying to color correct you need to cancel out the colors first prior to laying the foundation on. It’s quite technical actually because you have to factor in the consistency of the product you’re using, the tools you use to apply it with like sponge, brush, hands, as well as consider what you set it with. Amber’s testimony or rather her last bit of response prior to the break appeared as if she knew what she was taking about and only her opinion mattered. Like she was the expert makeup artist but gave little to no insight on the application itself but only cared to discuss the color of the bruising. It’s one thing to cancel color, it’s another to have the makeup stay on, look natural in lighting and to the naked eye and not make the bruise look puffy. As an artist myself, I’ve covered many tattoos, bruises, hickies, you name it! Makeup is science

I have a burn (smooth but red) from childhood near my face that I once tried to cover with foundation and concealer so it wasn't prominant in my graduation photos but sadly it didn't go well. I didn't do enough research and too naive to think it would be easy, this is why I am not believing of bruises being covered so easily which are more prominent than an old burn wound. Will try learn more about makeup, though.

@@wella_watson the color correction has to go on the actual color needing to be corrected, otherwise the actual correction won't work. For example, trying to cancel out redness? Well then you need green. But the green must be placed under the foundation, and blended etc before the foundation. That way when foundation is applied the redness isn't as noticeable. If you put the green on top you'll have a green spot and it's super noticeable. It just doesn't work. And theater makeup isn't a miracle, you can't exactly hide cuts, selling etc
I was severely beaten by an ex-partner to the point where I almost lost my life. My jaw, right ocular bone, right molar, were all broken. I spent weeks rehabilitating from that one beating I received and still bare the scars to this day. When I was released from the hospital two weeks after I was still very swollen and bruised up. I tried to apply makeup to some of the bruises and let me tell you, you could still tell I was beaten. By the way if anyone is asking I am a professional makeup artist and know how to properly do makeup. Amber Heard is a liar, the type of wounds she’s describing would have been very visible even with makeup for weeks. She’s legit crazy

There’s no way someone would put dark orange colour corrector over the top of foundation and concealer… it would be straight up orange. It doesn’t
just disappear if you put it over purple tones, it covers it with orange… but then you have to cover the orange with concealer. She’s so confident about it but she has no clue… just embarrassing.

This is the lamest testimony ever. Knowing what colors to use to counteract another color is make up 101. Doesn’t prove she was beaten or abused. You could ask any make up artist and they will know this information you can even Google it and find out this information. Any girl who wears make up knows this type of information. So how is this at all proof that she was abused? Her team is just the worst. No evidence whatsoever that he ever hit her. No audio of him saying that he had her no evidence in any way shape or form. As a doctor I can say that swelling can only be reduced to a certain degree. One would definitely notice facial injuries even if cooled with ice. Tissue damage always comes with edematous swelling which will go away as tissue recovers but not only by cooling

Anyone who's tried to cover a lovebite with makeup KNOWS it's virtually impossible. Let alone a broken nose and black eyes.
I think they should bring a professional make-up artist as an expert to tell us if it is possible to hide bruises AND a broken nose with makeup without it looking off or strange.
Also, I don’t know a lot about makeup, but I am pretty sure the correcting color should be applied before the concealer and foundation. Otherwise, the correcting color will be so obvious and will not do its job. That is why they should bring an expert.
Face bruises aren’t like an arm or a leg, your face SWELLS UP like crazy. I’ve had a black eye and other bruises before and it’s not a matter of morning-makeup then you are good to go. It swells like hell and the tones get so bad especially between the eyes and cheek that it’s impossible to hide, even when you’re straight up using green blemish control you’d get from Ulta. If my half-blind grandma could see bruises covered up and chastise the hell out of me for it, the paparazzi would. Or the makeup crew she has to have during shoots.

She just flipped the description of how she was putting on artificial bruises with colour on TOP of her makeup. If you were trying to hide bruises with colour, you would first use colour on a clean face to match your skin tone and THEN cover it up with thick foundation .. what she described was BS to me!

In all my twenty-one years serving primarily women, also families and children I have NEVER EVER seen or heard a woman who DOES cover her bruises with make up, speak so easily about her "color kit" that she calls her "bruise kit". I'm a makeup artist and I'm here to tell you that when covering up any discoloration on your skin, you must color correct before putting on foundation and concealer. You can't color correct over your foundation unless your trying to make a bruise like Amber did.

As someone whos had two black eyes and bruises my face, I can tell you that makeup definitely does help conceal bruising, but it in no way shape or form does it completely cover those injuries flawlessly in the way she's trying to portray. No matter how much ice you use, you will still have immense swelling for up to a week or more from the attacks she supposedly sustained. There's NO WAY you wouldn't be able to see the swelling to any degree the next day no matter how much makeup or ice she used had she been clocked in the face multiple times by an enraged man with chunky rings on all of his fingers. That's essentially like being punched by someone wearing knuckle breakers. Her whole story is just so unbelievable considering that out of all her secret recordings and photos that she took, she incredibly doesn't have one photo or substantial piece of unreftuable evidence to back up her claims.

Exactly. My daughter got hit on the nose with a small ball (much softer than a regular tennis ball), we iced it immediately, but it still got pretty swollen. After the second night, the blood had traveled up a bit to under her eyes - they got purplish. She had a swollen red nose, two purple eyes and after a couple of days it got super dark purple - almost black. This was just caused by a small ball, no way it could’ve been covered up with make up. A whack to the nose or other part of the face with a fist with rings… that wouldn’t even have been comparable to the damage this small ball did. Total BS from AH.

You either have it or you don't. And if you're hit but you did'nt have a bruise, then it's usually not that hard like probably only a small slap. You dont get like a huge bruise and then manage to make it gone the next day. And if, like she said, not even make up could cover the swelling, then where's the swelling? You use The opposite color on the color wheel to correct under eye darkness, redness/dark spots on the face, anyone who is into beauty knows this! Yeah, Milani, the manufacturer of the concealer palette, even PUBLICLY relrased a statement a few weeks ago - after Amber's lawyer introduced, showed, and stated in her opening arguement that Amber concealed bruises during the 2013-2016 relationship, stating that this specific product only went on the market in 2018 or 2017 (i forget which. I think it was 18. You can look up the Milani company TikTok vid about it.)
They are going to Destroy her on this perjurious testimony in cross-exam. She could even face jail time or a fine for perjury for testifying re this under oath in a court of law.
