Aye Up, some serious kick back there on the rip saw there. That's why they always teach you to stand to the side. If you don't want the guard on, okay, then take the guard off . . . BUT LEAVE THE PLATE IN THAT SUPPORTS THE OVERHEAD GUARD and you won't get kick back. It's there for that very reason. Sorry but everyone needs to know that. Just getting the message out there. Someone I knew died from a kick back injury. He wasn't the operative, he was just walking past when a piece hit him and he died from internal injuries 2 days later. The company was prosecuted for manslaughter.
Anyhow, enough of the lecture, Watched your 'Love' carving and now this one. Think I'll be watching a few of yours; I like the music too! Keep em coming bud. Cheers.

Thanks for that, Andy. I shall have a go at making that with my new scroll saw. I might just screw the back piece on, though, instead of gluing it; just in case the lights fail and I need to renew them.

Hallo Stefan, vielen Dank für deine Nachfrage wegen der Musik, dass hat mir nämlich den Hinweis gegeben das ich die Musiklinks unter meiner Beschreibung vergessen habe. Was ich jetzt nachgeholt habe.Ich benutze in letzer Zeit nur noch Musik aus dem Tool von UA-cam, da bin ich immer auf der sicheren Seite.Schöne Weihnachten. Gruß Andy

The plywood is 3mm birch and the inner board is 32mm thick

Servus guten morgen Andy, darf ich erfahren was du für ein Holz als Mittelteil verwendet hast. Kann mir gut vorstellen, dass sich hier nicht alles gut verwenden lässt. Wie stark hast du das Mittelteil gewählt.

markus wil Hallo Markus, der Mittelteil bestand aus 28 mm Fichtenholz ... mir ging es nur darum ein möglichst weiches Holz zu verwenden... die Stabilität kommt dann wieder nach dem verleimen mit den unteren und oberen Platten. Gruß Andy

markus wil Vielen Dank Markus, ja ich will genau so weitermachen wie bisher... auch wenn mir viele erzählen was ich ändern müsste um erfolgreicher auf UA-cam zu sein... aber das macht mir dann keinen Spaß... weil ich dann nicht mehr „ich“ bin. Dann verzichte ich lieber darauf ein UA-cam Star zu werden😂 und backe lieber kleine Brötchen. Gruß Andy
@@AndysHolzkiste das ist die richtige Einstellung, ich hab so manchen Holzwerker hier auf UA-cam verfolgt, die zwar am Anfang ganz gut waren, aber sich sehr schnell zum Preis von Ruhm und Geld mehr als negativ verändert haben. Das ist zumindest mein persönliches Empfinden, deswegen bin ich hauptsächlich auch nur noch auf englischsprachigen Scroller und Carver channels unterwegs. Diese englischsprachige Community spricht zumindest noch den kleinen Handwerker an, der eben nicht das Budget für eine zigtausend teure Werkstatt hat. In diesem Sinne so wie du das machst ist das absolut OK, außerdem ist es dein Kanal und deine Arbeit.

Welche Dekupiersäge verwendest du? Die Scheppach habe ich mir aktuell gekauft und wenn ich die so betrachte würde mich vermutlich eine etwas bessere interessieren.

ok - schon gefunden :D - eine Pegas 16Zoll ... Preislich sehr hoch - aber du machst ja auch sehr viel. Ok - ich werde erst Mal die kleine Scheppach behalten und gucken was ich da für Projekte machen kann

Ja die Pegas ist schon recht teuer und ich habe lange überlegt...denn es ist ja bei mir auch nur ein Hobby. Aber dann...habe ich mir diesen Traum erfüllt und habe es bis jetzt nicht bereut. Aber die Entscheidung muß jeder für sich selbst treffen.
