- The Netherlands' right-wing government said on Wednesday it would seek to opt out from the European Union's migration rules if and when the bloc next renegotiates its core treaties - even though this is unlikely to happen any time soon.
In power since July, the government led by Geert Wilders' nationalist, anti-Islam PVV party has said it wants to clamp down on unwanted arrivals and aims for the "strictest-ever asylum regime", with stronger border checks and harsher rules for arriving asylum-seekers.
Talk’s Alex Phillips is joined by political theorist Ralph Schoellhammer, who says the EU’s migration rules “could be the end” of the partnership as a project.

The end game was always to get the UK to relinquish the pound, which would be financial suicide.

I so wish the end of the EU. I don't know about anybody else but personally the problem that worries me the most is the continuos invasion of Europe by people from third world countries. I honestly would be willing to give up half of my pension to stop all this.
We have a migration crisis and so does Ireland. No-where to put all these illegal immigrants.

It was a mistake for the original EU agreement to make it all powerful over the members. It should have been just an economic union and separate members should have retained all of their sovereignty.

The percentage of migrants accepted by any EU-country should be in relation to it's size! The current influx that The Netherlands needs to deal with is totally out of proportion!!!

Islam is a really radical faith with strong emotions and intentions with it. An Islamic people isn't likely to accept your values, like woman rights, but they are very likely to practice theirs. There is a reason other countries on the middle east, or their neighbors are refusing to let them in. They did in the past, and got the really short end of the stick, had to force them out often with military help.
There is thousands of miles of land in africa that no body want, so why not let them arrive there coz no one is going to stop them building your own house, simple
