Thanks for the video. I just set my new Paragon Contempo model up this week. I haven't popped my first batch of popcorn as yet. I needed to watch someone do it first in order to avoid a mess. My only issue with the popper is the plexiglass doors. They won't stay open. They keep springing back to a closed position. I'll have to figure something out. My machine looks very nice especially with the optional cart. The cart really sets it off. Amazon had an excellent deal for the popper, so I took advantage of it. It shipped straight from the factory.
That's terrific! So glad you got a machine from Paragon, we really like ours a lot. On the doors, is the machine level front to back. I'm just wondering if it's tipped forward a little? I love the Contempo model!! It's really sharp! Thank you for sharing and thank you for watching! 🙏
@@PopcornGenius I got a Great Northern 6oz popcorn machine with the cart. It was on sale at Walmart, so I went for it! lol But, it isn't as high quality as your machine here in the video. You have a really nice one! I look forward to seeing more videos of you using this popcorn machine!
Hi there....are you still liking the machine? How easy is it to clean? I went to the site...there are a no of machines...which one exactly did you buy...thanks
Hi! We love this machine. It’s very easy to clean. The kettle is anodized which makes it easy to clean. We have the Theater Pop 8. It is heavy duty and we really like it. We have a course that outlines how to make different flavors of popcorn in the machine. It also includes cleaning it as well. Thank you for watching! 🙏
Don’t really think they’re comparable, there’s a 3x price difference between the cheapest model. I have a great northern, this looks nicer from the video, at $169 vs $799 it should be.
Any problems solving tips? Ive got the same machine. Every time we make a batch of popcorn And I dump it out there's always a bunch of burned bits in the bottom of the kennel that dump out onto the top of the popcorn. It doesn't matter if I dump it before all the kernels are done popping or shut the kettle off right when it starts to slow down popping. It's bad enough that I have to let it completely cool so I can wipe it out and clean it before I make another batch.
That's so strange. I haven't had that happen. Can you explain your popping process? Also, what kind of kernels are you using? It's great you tried a dump it at different times. Thank you for watching!!
@@PopcornGenius This happens to me all the time. To get the stubborn popped kernels out of the kettle, do not use anything metallic. Use long chopsticks. They work great and keep your fingers away from the hot kettle. You can get chopsticks at your favorite Chinese or Thai restaurant.

How is that compared to Great Northern ?
Excellent question. Unfortunately, we've never had the pleasure of using a Great Northern popcorn popper so we can't compare. Thank you for watching!!
