Been playing through Red Dead 2 on my Steamdeck OLED these last couple weeks and it's one of the most beautiful things I've witnessed on a screen.
You should try it on pc at 4k max settings with oled screen
@@NeonT3tra25 Chances are they have already and are replaying it on the Deck. The Deck is a great system for replaying games you're already familiar with on the go.
@@NeonT3tra25 Wow, I bet you can almost smell the horse sh*t.
I’ve been watching digital foundry forever and probably watch every video. I’m just now noticing Oliver wears black Polo’s every video lol😅. I dig the Homer Simpson style lol
Ghost of Tsushima hands down. It relied less on resolution and surface lighting that would benefit from ray tracing, and was heavily HDR and art style focused. It still can hold its weight against next generation.
My three picks are always TLOU 2, Uncharted 4 and RDR 2. TLOU 2 still looks stunning to this day, the grassy seraphites level like ugh soooo goooood, uncharted 4 the Madagascar section, the amazing chase scene everything about this game is so pleasing to the eye, and of course RDR 2 one of the best looking open-worlds.
RDR2
TLOU2
Gears 5
Uncharted 4
Arkham Knight
I was impressed by InFamous: Second Son. Definitely worth mentioning alongside with Batman AK
RDR2, Uncharted 4, Battlefield 1, NFS 2015, and Batman Arkham Knight are the ones that comes to mind.
Also an honorable mention to Mario Kart 8 (while not demanding in general, looks great on its target system and just in general).
Mario Kart 8...maybe. for Switch, that honer should go to Luigi's Mansion 3.
Horizon Forbidden West looks incredible for PS4 version.
Best looking game indeed on a Ps4 pro nothing comes close
Ryse son of Rome
How Ryse doesn’t even get a nod but The Order does is very big oversight given the intent of the title of the video
Such a great game. Real hidden gem.
Ryse is gorgeous, the architecture is so beautiful.
@@StashGordonBecause The Order has better graphics and is a better game. Cope harder

found the pony
Rdr2 for realism with most detailed graphics and HFW for phantasy with beautiful sunrise and dawn. Those 2 are on a par.
Modern Warfare 2019 might be the most impressive ps4 experience for me.
Prior to RDR2, I always thought that the greatest looking game I had ever seen on the PS4 up to that point was Uncharted 4, so that is still very high on my list.
Shout out to Call of Duty Vanguard on the xbox One version. It looks better than Black Ops 6 on series x. The lighting, the sharp textures, character models is impressive and its still active in 2025 w crossplay. Vanguard is the best looking call of duty. Its insane graphically
rise son of rome looks great.
Am I tripping or they totally forgot about killzone? I remember it being stunning at the time, and it was a realise title
Ryse son of Rome for xb1 and infamous on ps4
Rdr2, gta v, last of us 2, uncharted 4, Arkham knight, Ac origins, ghost of tsushima, ryse son of Rome, forza horizon 2, 3, 4,
TLOU 2 and The Order 1886
