I'm following all the steps but when i apply octane object tag and add volume medium nothing happens, i cant see it on octane render. Any idea? im using cinema4D R21. Edit: So it happens when I use mix sky texture, I see you get a circle when you enable it and you click the sphere but i dont get that option. I also see it when I change Daylight model to anything other than Octane daylight model. and whenever i disable mix sky texture and make a change to power or anything else the cloud vanishes . I have to activate imp.samp and mix skype and then disable both of them to appear again. It works fine with an area light so thats what im using for now. Any help please? Thank you
Make sure you apply 'Volume Medium' in object tag, in order for octane to render, and when you use daylights mix texture make sure the other hdri texture is set to 'visible' not primary Mind share which octane version are you using, I'll share my projects files later on gumroad.
Hello, I have Cinema 4D R19.024. Could you do the same tutorial with this version (using OctaneRender)? I would be very grateful if you can do that. Thanks
@원은비 you can just apply Redshift “Volume Material” to Volume Builder, you dont need the octanetag for redshift, also you can download the project file, I have included the redshift setup as well, link is in the description
Wow, I use C4D everyday and still learned something, your tutorials are on another level. I hope you post new tutorials!
impressive work and depth of knowledge.
dope tutorial man thank you very much
Amazing ! Keep it up !
Thank you
Niceeeee mate! ⚡️☁️

Sorry wish I could help you, but unfortunately volume builder is not compatible in r19
i love you
:( I don't have octane... is it possible with Redshift?
I think I got something really similar with Redshift :p
yes it's definitely possible for redshift, you can download the project file in my gumroad, I included redshift project file
