I've great confidence in your guidance Mandy.
I had submitted my DS-160 application as an individual going on holidays last year and was given an appointment date for November, 2023. However, my children (girls aged 15 and 13) just got an invitation for a World Youth conference also in the US for summer 2024.
Can I change my individual application to a family application on this same DS-160 and pay for and include my wife and my last kid to make of 5 of us on that file?
BTW, we had always travelled international trips together.. We even gave birth to our last kid in the UK in 2014.

@@ZFvisaHello...I was already refused 3 times in a month in 2013 when applied for undergraduate programme. Are there any possibility to get visa in 4th time in Master's programme after 10 years? What should I demonstrate to the Visa Officer if he asked me about my 3 times prior refusal? Please do the useful.

Hi Mandy, I enjoyed your vlog on the visa interview. I am a U.S. citizen who retired, moved to the Philippines, and got married to a Filippino. My brother-in-law died and I wanted to take my spouse to the U.S. along with me to meet my extended family at his celebration of life ceremony. My spouse applied for a tourist visa to travel in May and discovered that the earliest interview was in July. As a result, I will now go alone to the U.S.
I was wondering if this huge wait was common and looked at the interview waiting times for several other countries, and discovered that if we were in Thailand, the estimated waiting time was only 7 days. This disparity shocked me and as an American who pays my taxes to the U.S. even though living overseas.
My spouse has absolutely no interest in moving to the U.S. and I want to remain in the Philippines myself. There appears to be no process whereby my spouse can get a visa to travel with me to the U.S. every couple of years to visit our family. It is hard to plan visits to the U.S. to attend weddings, funerals, and graduations a half a year ahead of time.
In addition, my spouse hears that any chance to get approved for a tourist visa are poor because of not holding a job. This is because we are constantly traveling because I want to see the world. We have traveled to 19 Philippine provinces and 5 foreign countries in the last year and a half.
Why the huge discrepancy in the waiting times between embassies? Is it true that because my spouse doesn't hold a job that a tourist visa is likely to be denied?

    • @ZFvisa
      @ZFvisa  Рік тому +2

The wait time in the Philippines is very long right now. You could consider applying in another country like Thailand. I would highly that she prepare with me because the refusal rate for Filipino applicants is very high.

But my sister her husband and son in india have interview in December 2022 and they got refuse. They got the papaer on interview, in paper they are asking for new joint sponsor. We don't have any other joint sponsor. Can you please give suggestion what can we do now. Marriage Base visa question: If at the time of the interview at an embassy, I was granted a CR1 visa and at the Port of entry in the USA I was a month past my 2nd wedding anniversary, I have seen cases where USCIS grants a conditional still but the law states: "if the second anniversary of the marriage upon which the immigrant visa is based occurred after the issuance of the visa and prior to the alien's application for admission) the endorsement on the visa shall be corrected and the alien shall be admitted as a lawful permanent resident without conditions, if otherwise admissible". My Elder Brother's Wife (sister-in-law) is a US citizen. My brother is currently working in Australia, but my sister-in-law has already filed a petition for my brother to move to the US after a year. However, I will be having my F1 Visa interview before it.
Do I have to mention my brother and sister-in-law in the DS 160 form?
Will visa interviewers know about the petition filed by my sister-in-law and how to deal with questions if they ask about them? Also, my brother is the main sponsor for my Master's studies.

I am from Afghanistan and have applied for SIV because of my work with US government. It is under process.
Meanwhile, I got admission from a US university with 70% scholarship and planning to apply for F1 visa from Cyprus as I am now in Cyprus.
Having SIV under process and living in Cyprus, will it affect my F1 visa?
The main reason is I’m planning to get a master degree before my SIV is approved and it will help me in the future to get better opportunities instead of waiting for SIV approval which may take up to two years.

    • @ZFvisa
      @ZFvisa  Рік тому

Hi Mandy, great video's and I wish I had looked prior to now.. My Sister-in-law in China has now, as of yesterday (with WA State Senators help) been denied 9 times, never giving a reason. Her parents are here, in the US, and are green card holders, her Dad is in Hospice and not expected to live much longer. We are overwhelmed with this crazy process and do not know what to do next. She has no criminal record, isn't political and made it very clear in her last interview that they need and want to come back to China. Do you have any recommendations moving forward?

A bit concerned that my parents are in the US and they have overstayed there for years now, while I have a history of visa denial 10 yrs ago while still a student. Do you think the consul will consider my case for a tourist visa? I have established myself here in the UK holding a work visa permit in one of the big 4 firms and have travel history in other countries. My intention is really visit the US for tourism, and of course visit my parents, but with all honesty do not have the intention to overstay. Your advice is greatly appreciated 😊😊

    Hello,
I just wanted to understand couple of questions in regards to F2 Dependant Visa Process
    1. Firstly is it mandatory that the applicant explain the officer that he will return back to the home country in so and so time rather just being true that they would want to accompany there partner till he/she is done with the entire master course.
    2. For the people who reapply for visa interview process in any category, Does that make any difference in decision for the Interviewer, Like just because a person was denied a visa earlier will he/she be asked more questions or the interview goes Intense.
Looking forward to hear from you😊

Also my final action date is not yet current, could that be the problem? Another thing, how long does it take to get approved? If you can please clarify that for me, I will really appreciate it!!! Thank you very much!!!
    Best Regards!

Hi Mandy, thank you for all the information in your videos :)
My dad is Argentinian and they have lived in the UK for 5 years now. My dad have all the rights to leave in the UK, he rent a flat here for 5 years,.
Also, my sister and I have been living in the UK for 7 years and we are actively working. However, my dad is retired and he doesn't speak English.
The appointment is in June, US embassy in London.
    I have 2 questions:
    1. Can i attend to the interview with them as their interpreter? If so, is there anything i have to do?
    2. Is it an issue that my dad is retired and not actively working?
    3. We are going on holidays in September for 10 days, my parents, my sister, my boyfriend and me.
Thank you so much for you help, i will really appreciate your answer.

Im not Mandy of course 😅but I am pretty sure that your 1st question’s answer will be No .
If anyone requires a translator, they will provide it or find any other way to communicate in the language which your dad knows
and you can’t accompany them even inside the building because it’s only for applicants and those who is holding interview time confirmation😊

Hi Mandy, your vlogs help a lot to those who are interested to apply tourist visa to the US. I have a question I was denied for b1b2 back in 2018 in Dubai using my married passport. I recently changed my passport back to my maiden name as my husband passed away due to covid. I wanted to try booking appointed again in Dubai US consulate this time with my passport reverted to my maiden name. I am still working for the same company when i was denied, its my 9th year with the same company and ive got salary increase lastyear. Do you think having salary increase will help my circumstance change if the consul asks me what has been changed after my denial? Do i need to bring the death certificate of my husband during the interview to justify my status change in my passport? Do you think being widowed will be difficult for me to get a tourist visa? Appreciate your advise on my sitution. 😊
