That Hits/Crits question came up way back in 1st Edition, before the Compendium, with the interaction between _Frightful Touch_ (Nighthaunt Spirit Hosts) and _Biovoltaic Barrier_ (Idoneth Ishlaen Eels). I don't recall if it actually happened on the tabletop, but I noticed the potential interaction and brought it up a couple times, and everyone agreed that it would follow a logical order: the outgoing hits would turn into crits, and then the incoming crits would turn into hits (thus favoring the defensive ability). Just made sense. I'm not sure that it works that way, though. In the 2nd Ed. Core Rules, the paragraph on *Sequencing* says that the person activating a fighter chooses the order to resolve "rules . . . [that] may be unclear as to which is resolved first" (thus favoring the offensive ability). Do Abilities count as "rules" in this case? Who knows?
Warhammer Heroes should die a terrible horrible death, but I love these as a cool 5pt divine blessing on existing units. Always a fan of more ways to spend the little points you have left over
Also I just realized that the Praetor ability would go nuts with the standard Liberator double Total of +3A +1S and "Oops! All Crits!" vs anything 25W or more. It's an incredibly specific scenario, but it's a scenario that exists
Don’t waste your money on tracking all these down!! They will probably come out in the next Warcry Starter set with MDF terrain 😂 (if you’re following the new Kill Team starter, you know what I’m talking about)!!
What is the point of buying a bespoke warband if you can not use it as is. If need to buy more than one box what is the point. If we can just use what ever in warcry then GW should stop making useless warcry warbands Just continue to make warcry rules for all the AOS and underworlds models...
For rules that interact together it's the attacker who chooses Wich comes in effect first
I'm not a big fan of the warhammer heroes sales model, but i am happy with the power level these ended up at

1:18 shout out to you, Dan
Also I read Valentin's ability as reactionary so that you see the rolls then spend the dice

Lol yeah, I'm actually a big fan of that KT starter set
did you have some ruination advice ?
Have at least 3 Reclusians, and 2 crows, and try to keep all-SCE, so that you get the battle trait.
