what is the meaning of 'eck'?
It's short for "heck" aka a milder version of "hell". And similarly "flipping" is a milder version of the other F word. @@wueong454

That was a scary takeoff from the A350
It was fine. Nothing scary about it.
It was either incorrectly trimmed or ass-heavy.
As someone who is definitely not a pilot... I can't even see what people are talking about going wrong.
@@Galiant2010 nothing was wrong. The pilot brought the nose up a bit too quickly, so he stopped for a second to correct it. All was fine. No issues.
@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183 Pfft.
I dont think you know what "fails to take off" means
I don't think you know that you can fail then later succeed.
That afterburner hit was wild
When your aircraft doesn't rotate(start climbing) at the rotate speed, then there's a pretty good chance you are a bit too heavy alluding to a little oversight in takeoff calculations. Good quick correctional input by pilots however to reduce the angle of attack momentarily to build up speed and then climb out 👍🏻
Nah, he was just doing a job interview for AeroSucre
Airbus shall be protected against tail strike. However, the elevator was first applied fully up. That's can stop gaining speed.
Almost like clutching to get speed into the roundabout when car was in the wrong gear!
He didnt lower the nose because he was too slow, i think he just overrotated with the stick and corrected his position quickly. I also don't think he was too slow at all, the Title of the video is pretty stupid
@@enfantterrible4868 I agree. When I saw the speed of climbing, I cannot believe he was too slow on the RWY.
The first clip is from BIG JET TV, I was watching it live
Passenger on E-190…. huh my phone is charged to 3000%
that SU 22 clip...wow! when the afterburner kicks in...ive watch an incredible amount of aviation clips, mainly fast jets, in my time but that SU 22 is in my top 5, probably No#1 actually!! excellent..blown away
Watch the Australian F1-11 doing a 'dump and burn' at night. Plenty of vids. Awesome. Damn I miss those things.
That Polish AF show off was quite cool!
Those are interesting flares. Usually, they're lighting up right out of the chute. What's the design concept behind these?
These are photo flares or recce flares. They provide light for reconnaissance aircraft to photograph a target area at night.
"photo-flash flares, normally used for illuminating the ground to help aircraft gather reconnaissance imagery."
so its not chaff?
They were more like depth charges.
@@FlyLeah Chaff and flares are completely different things. Flares are designed to provide an alternate hot-spot in a thermal seeker head. Chaff is meant to confuse seekers with an alternate "surface" for radar to bounce off of.
As always, WOW!!!! Excellent!!!!

A350 fails to take-off? It took off you muppets. Who writes these captions🤣 How do you know it was an error in the calculations of take off speed?
Video title had me expecting an RTO...
Yeah, the title on this weird channel is almost always the opposite of what happens.
Took off fine

An ice runway in Antarteca - that sounds fascinating.
Yeah it's cool.
Very cool.
seems crazy to see an a340 too, considering how ice and runway conditions are often hazardous factors in most airports
0.45 "The early rotation might be a result of an erroneous takeoff calculation performed by the flight crew"
As a more likely explanation, instead of a calculation error, I would think that Iberia encountered vortices that have been left on the runway crossing at that point from a large aircraft that used it a moment before. But the runways at London Heathrow are all in the same direction, so there is no cross traffic effect. However, it is possible that the Iberia took off too soon after the plane ahead of them, causing its eddies to lift the Iberia into the air. This is quite a dangerous possibility.
I was considering the same thing, similar to that RAM B737 from a few years ago. I'm only a short-way into my ATPLs but I see that as a real possibility, especially given the high traffic density at LHR. Tho could quite easily be an early rotation too.
Yes, I too am skeptical of the erroneous takeoff calculation theory, they would have had to make a big error in one of the calc inputs since we are only talking maybe one second difference in reaching Vr. More likely the PF had too much coffee before takeoff, was a little over anxious and twitchy, and jumped the gun on the side stick. My rule is count to two after Vr and then ease back on the yoke/stick (when there is plenty of runway). Pulling back too quick doesn't get you to your destination any sooner haha. But I only fly on FSX, so what do I know hahaha.
About 3 seconds elapsed between the visual strike and its report. The lightning strike at 1:12 was approx 1/2 mile from the camera's microphone.
Excelente 👏
The SU22 was amazing
That early rotation was probably a blocked Pitot tube. Or a hungover First officer/ captain.
Rafale is gorgeous.
C'est magnifique!
Wish to be the A350 Iberia pilot one day. But maybe with better take-offs.

Does anyone know the purpose of the type of flare seen at 2:00?
0:50 - that could be a balance problem as well! Very dangerous!
Wasn’t a balance issue.
you sure, it looks like it still has alpha at the end @@rtbrtb_dutchy4183
Yeah this is another good one
Not sure but this could also be an initial over rotation where the pilot rotates to quickly initially and than slows it down. Happens sometimes with people who are new on type. Might even have been a training flight
I beieve it is a training flight as they use the A350 once a day from Madrid to LHR to gain hoursfor type certification
Again, these are no flares from the SU-22 - a flare is designed to distract the IR-Missile from the engine. It ignites directly after dropped from the aircraft to produce a lot of heat for a couple of seconds so the IR-seeker aims for the flare instead of the engine.
A flare exploding 20m below the aircraft makes exactly zero sense.
2:10 So, I’m here on the left next to the motorcycle, filming this!
Never thought I’d be captured on the channel 😂
I will say that A350’s beacon is 🔥
Note the flaps just before the rotation.
The raffale and the last one in the ice were the best

Este juego es muy eficaz me encanta
Gotta love❤ the RAF!
I wish i was on that A350! That would be an awesome rotation ! WEEEEEEE
Fabuloso
FO mistook “v1” for “rotate” or some type of wrong data input. You could see that elevator with way too much deflection for a normal takeoff.
Isht the 340 prone to punctures or ice entering the engine?
I would have identified the Rafale as a Saab 37 Viggen if it wasn't pointed out. They are surprisingly similar.
More or less if you mean the Saab 39 Gripen (although the Rafale is bigger and twin-engine) but it doesn't look like a Viggen at all ... My opinion
Did that A-350 tail strike?
The awesome Trent XBS's took care of the job
Speaking from experience, the aircrew may have the RIGHT calculations, but dispatch gave the WRONG weights.
0:33 "Go on son, get it up!" - OMG THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!
Just a small reminder that once you exceed a certain bank angle, you have no vertical lift vector.

That A350 flight could potentially be the last for that aircraft

The dark exhausts coming out from this A340 taking off from Antarctica are for once very visible upon this iced runway 😅

Pilots rotate the aircraft according to the Takeoff calculations delivered to them by the flight dispatchers.
Nonsense. Pilots are always in charge to calculate takeoffs speed. ATC provides weather info, nothing else. All other factors are only known and calculated inside the cockpit.
I wonder what kind of B767-3ER you're talking about...
@@RoyalMela Pilots do not load passengers or weigh the baggage. Pilots calculations are always based on data provided by the flight dispatch office. Call or check with an airline.

iberia a normal take off …side stick wrong input or a wind issue
Jerry Dyer with the commentary on Big Jet TV.
that cockney guy at heathrow always entertaining
The A350 looked like it had a rearward load issue. Recently in Australia a similar but opposite thing happened with a school trip when the rear of the plane was rearward-light with about 100 kids sitting up back and the nose lifted too slow taking the pilots by surprise.
I think that's chaff, not flare. It's for radar guided missiles while flare is used for IR guided/ heat-seeking missiles & looks like a.. well.. a flare. CMIIW
Oh I knew Big Jet TV’s video was going to be on here! That was terrifying
The a350 clip looks like the pilot was practicing an obstacle clearance performance take-off. In such a take-off, the pilot pitches the nose to achieve the best angle of climb, and then once the obstacle is cleared they lower the nose to achieve the normal best rate of climb attitude.
That’s not done in a jet. He over rotated a bit and corrected. No issues.
Yes there was probably a little hill in the middle of the runway that nobody saw except the PF.
i love the rafale, also the EF2000 and the saab gripen. does anyone have a favourite of the three?
Yes, the F15 Strike Eagle...but of those 3...definitely the Rafale.
@@jayr.9266 i love the strike eagle too. that, the Tu160 and hawker hunter are probably my top three on looks.

@@3MinutesofAviation Mot at all. I look forward to them.
I like four engines where it's an ice cold runway.
Looks more like the A350 rotation was a bit too abrupt. That didn’t look like 3 degrees per second to me
Honestly it is possible the a350 was going for a performance takeoff. After rotating, one can de-rotate which causes the aircraft to pivot about its center of gravity, meaning the main wheels leave the ground faster as the wings are supporting the weight. Getting the wheels off the ground sooner increases performance, and then a considerable nose-up attitude was held in order to clear a simulated obstacle. I've seen the captions on this youtube channel be wrong or ignorant enough times to think of another explanation.
Wrong like this one.
@@lbowsk ?
Wrong takeoff calculations?? How in the world could that happen?
5+4=7?
Yes . System should reject them if they are incorrect or outside the envelope of aircraft .
Math sucks.
@@haroonvlogs5437 They tried to do the 6÷2(2+1) thingy.
@@haroonvlogs5437 if they're outside the envelope the system will tell them. But if you're typing a wrong weight then the takeoff speeds are just wrong
Those engines must've worked harder then, then they will in their entire lifespan.
