you mentioned the Cleveland scene. I assume you've heard Regurgitation - Tales of Necrophilia? Brian Baxter is in my opinion is the best guitar player in that whole scene. Love his stuff.
Yeah Regurgitation I got that one tales of Necrophilia and their ep Clitoraldectomy it has Suffocations Cover Infecting the Crypts killer Stuff to bad they only made those 2 cds. I used to have Their Demo forgot the title killer Demo
Decrepit rule! I’ve been spinning their first demo that’s been reissued. I need that album of theirs you showed. Yeah, since you posted that Burial I’ve put it on my want list. Have you checked out Abramelin from Australia? If you haven’t, I think you’d dig them. There’s a very affordable box set of their complete recordings. They’re kind of Australia’s Suffocation. You’ve definitely talked about some albums that need to check out. There are ton of lost death metal gems from the very early 2000s for sure. It was a dark age for death metal unless you really liked that super techy stuff but I’ve been learning that there was a lot great stuff that I didn’t know at the time. There’s still a decent amount of it that is affordable too. But that’s quickly changing as people are catching on. I have that Rotten Sound record. They are probably one the last grindcore bands that really liked a lot.
This video SPEAKS TO MEEE Sulfuric Cautery fucking rips! If you're into the Ohio scene, that's where they're from. They put out an album last year called "Chainsaws Clogged with the Underdeveloped Brain Matter of Xenophobes" you should definitely check out! STILL need to pick up Dehumanized and Uspian!
Usipian reminds me of another great band, Ingurgitating Oblivion. Their last album "Vision Wallows in Symphonies of Light" was awesome and if you don't know this one I think you should check it out. It sounds a bit like Gorguts "Colored Sand" also. Bye !
Hymns is one of my all time faves. Got it when I was about 16 when it came out. It kinda freaked me out. To this day Von is the only death metal musician that I've seen offend a crowd when introducing a song. Lol. They were that sick.
What's going cool stuff great Video. Dude I got that Decrepit Acrimonium great Ep. My favorite is the Creation of Sin. The ep has a cool cover of Blood Feast Face Fate.i got that Splattered Cadaver Merciless Butchery very Brutal Underground Death Metal. I have their Human stew CD as well. Merciless Butchery is Better. Deaden is Sick to Feast on the Flesh of the Dead is a killer Demo got that Hymns of the sick great Stuff my favorite is Deaden Displaying the Art of Carnage Brutal stuff too bad their not around anymore. They kinda remind me of Broken Hope A little different anyway Cool Stuff
Give malignancy another chance, I recall you saying you weren’t into them but given the brutal death metal binge you’re on give it another shot. Intrauterine cannibalism.
Dude! I have that Burial album. It's awesome. I also have their ep they released before it, called Mourning the Millennium. Also essential listening. To me the ep has Suffocation musical sections and the vocals often sound like Tomb of the Mutilated era Chris Barnes
Great picks! Decrepit is a band I have been meaning to check out. Midwest death metal from the 90's takes no prisoners. Pure knuckle-dragging goodness.
I was definitely into the brutal death metal scene in the mid-late 90s. Pessimist and Deaden were faves then, but I haven't listened to them in well over a decade. I'll have to revisit. Will definitely check out that Burial album, too, sounds up my alley.
Well, you were spot on about Burial, it rules! Man, I wish to be one of those Futurama head in a jar people way in the future, just to see people's reaction on how we described death metal album reviews in the past, haha.
Sweet video!!!! The Human Effluence record grabbed my attention for sure, just because solid goregrind is hard to come by. The same drummer is in a project called Aspirate Coma (aspiratecoma.bandcamp.com/releases) that put out a demo this year that I'm eager to grab as soon as shipping becomes a little more friendly.
Dehumanized, Deaden, Eternal Suffering are all mandatory. That Burial record sounds amazing.
A lot of good shit here, the late 90s brutal stuff is the best

@@matthewlohr3188 yeah the demo rules too
@@forever_underground Yeah I remember the Name of the Demo Conceived Through Vomit
you should check out the Scattered Remnants demo if you havent yet
Are you familiar with Salvation Through Infinite Suffering by Infernal Dominion? Highly recommended if not.
Decrepit rule! I’ve been spinning their first demo that’s been reissued. I need that album of theirs you showed.

Brodequin is from Knoxville, Tennessee which is my hometown, those guys rule! Killer video as well, I have some stuff to check out now.
I like Decrepit´s "Creation of sin" more because of no BM but the second is also cool stuff. Have to check out Sycthe now for sure!!!

Dig that Burial stuff
Great list again! Lot of stuff I will get out of this video.
I just heard of a band called internal decay that would fit nicely on your list- it’s just insane and brutal. Anyway thanks this was beautiful
I have a bootleg of A Forgotten Dream. Need to play it more often
Great stuff as always
Thanks duder. Miss you all.
