Thanks for sharing Skyler, I am geared up to mod my first watch but I think I need a magnifier, it's useful hearing your thoughts on this subject. BTW you will not regret the Vario strap they are superb.

I say jump right in with your first mod. I use to use my magnifying head set (because I have glasses) when I first got them but now I barely use them unless I’m trying to read the numbers off an old battery or check an alignment on my watch hands. Space!! Yea a Quartz mod will take off a lot of pressure for your first mod but I definitely recommend giving it a shot. There is nothing more satisfying when you build exactly what you want how you want it! Always appreciate you my guy.
