About time you went to disc youngblood! Love that paint scheme! I would go for the LBS build myself. Watch and take notes so you can do your own maintenance. Disc brakes are pretty much set and forget (at least for me) until you need to change the pads and bleed. Have fun bro and can't wait to see the next video!

I think Specialized is one of the few brands that still gives some decent options, but this pain scheme is out of the park cool. Keep the vids coming man!

I'm looking at Winspace, Yeoleo and Trifox..but still can't decide. Winspace changed their huge letters on the frame, which is a good thing. About the build I'm thinking, bring it to a bike shop let them build it for you.. so you can win time and we can get e much quicker review.. without waiting to long.. lol. Congrats man ...

Hi Patrick, I thought I’d be rim brake forever, however I moved to Tarmac sl7 disc a couple of months ago and even with little time to get many rides , the ones I have, have been spot on! So am I sold , absolutely I’m even considering changing my C64 for the disc version! Great vid as usual, looking forward to the build, and yes lbs is the best option for the build plus you’ll get excellent footage as well as pickup up tips along the way. Top man👍👍

I would go with a build video at your LBS and maybe a type of build Q&A for those who want to build a hydro disc bike themselves. I personally think it's pretty straight forward until the brake install. I know the LBS mechanic probably have some tips to make the process more simple.

Have a Turbulent Blue frame (Disc brake) and 50mm wheelset on the way to me now, should be sailing from Miami next week... Hey there! Yep I have had a professional bike fit. It was a complete game changer for me personally, and having all my measurements saved means it's easy to transfer to a different bike. Another helpful tool is the "Stem Height Calculator" website where you can compare two bike fits. Hope this helps.

I watched a few others reviews on the hyper 65 and they seemed unfinished and looked a bit dull, I'm somewhat of a new cyclists, i have only been riding for about seven months but I really do enjoy it. I started off with a 2012 Scott cr1 and has recently upgraded to a Cervelo S3 Di2 Disk (should be delivered tomorrow ) I purchased it online but it has some really shity rims. I place my order for the winspace hyper 50 wheel about 4 days ago because of the impression I gathered from other reviews. I'm thinking I should contact winspace and go for the 65,s as that is the look I like. I've only been riding for a short time so I doubt it'll do much to help my performance but I really do love the look. Did you polish your 65 and do you think they would look proper on a Cervelo S3.
Hey Michael! Here in Chicago it's super flat, so 65mm make more sense over the 50s. Although I have taken the 65s on major rolling hills, they climb exceptionally well and are very stable even on descent even at 45mph+. No polishing of the wheels, just regular cleanings.

No speed wobbles at all. I’ve descended down rolling hills at 45mph/72kph on the rim brake version, with a crosswinds, and no issues at all
