Beautiful trip. Thanks Mike for taking us along. I really enjoy these videos too. Life is hard and we all need recharging trips like these. And when time is tight I know I can go watch one of your recharging trips and I’m ready again to take on life’s challenges again. 👍👍😎👍👍
I’m enjoying the Chanel I love the campers, I do a lot of fishing I’m near 60 years old and what I learned from my elders growing up was it’s called fishing not catching, I cook what catch clean up afterwards, I live in a gem of an island called Ireland 🇮🇪. Love the show
What a nice adventure!! I don't think those little trucks are for me but it looks like a ton of fun for you and that's all that matters, thank you for sharing
Once again knocked it out the park. Fantastic video mate a nice simple little adventure as it should be, nothing fancy like dramatic thumbnails for clicks. Very unique. From Mike in Wales 🏴 UK
You can use sodium silicate to "heal" the crack. Just create a dam with a putty around the crack end to end and put a piece of hard plastic over that dam. That plastic should have a place where you can put vacuum on it. The vacuum should be just enough to allow you to put enough suction through the crack for the sodium silicate to go inside the crack as you apply it from the other side (with a brush). Heating the glass with a hair drier beforehand also helps.
I love these videos. Thanks for bringing us along, and I particularly appreciate you setting up the shots so we can see the third person view of you hiking around or the mini truck driving through the woods or on the beach. My Hijet mini truck has been down for almost a month for painting. I painted it outside in October so the days were short and I had a lot of rain and cold weather to dodge. I rolled it with Medium Quartz Gray Monstaliner polyurethane truck bed liner. It looks a lot like your Suzuki. The painting took a lot longer than I thought and I still have some trim to finish underneath. I'll do that late spring when I paint the inside with the third gallon of Monstaliner. I put it all back together today, except for the big plastic front bumper and lights. I sprayed three coats of black Rust-oleum Trim & Bumper paint on the large front bumper today. I'll install that tomorrow. I have lots more on the Mini Truck To Do list, but I'm getting old and I don't get as much done in a day as I did in my 30s or 40s. I keep watching your videos and I'm talking myself into making a foamie fiberglass drop-in camper.
As a kid i think big trucks and tires are best ,now 45 years later i know what is "enough for real fun". A small lightweight 4x4 with high groundclearance ,low gears and locker like my LWB Samurai.
Fishing videos are so fun . If you could find a buddy to go out with you to teach you how I think it would be fun. Maybe just bring your boy. Love your vids brother. Peace ✌🏼
The Mini Pinzgauer is the Steyer Puch Haflinger, a true purpose built off road beast with a boxer twin in the back, pintel axels and difflocks all round. Very basic military style vehicle with no luxuries at all.
Get one of those claw grabber things to pick up trash, so you don't accidentally cut yourself and get infected, my buddy did that and had to go on antibiotics for 2 weeks.
Mike, You and i think a lot alike as to solitude. Really enjoyed this video to take my mind off of this crazy world. Could not agree with you more regarding everyone in a hurry but I used to be one of them. Always enjoyed your videos with your brother but really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of this video. It was a great change of pace. THANK YOU!

Vid idea! You have a Suzuki Carry and your brother (I think) has the Honda Acty, I'd love to see like a comparison video as to the pros and cons of both. As someone who is debating geting a KEI truck would love to see both of them laid out (especially with your campers, big fan of those!).
Such a joy as always to watch your videos Mike, I especially enjoyed your music too. Has a warm nestalgic 80's synth aesthetic with a calming yet uncertain/haunting tone to it. Do you have more tracks or another means to hearing the entirety of what was showcased in this video?
This video was therapeutic! Ironically, I was watching it from work haha - There's a really cool JDM Delica camper for sale near me and this video may have convinced me to get it. Thanks Mike
Thanks for checking out my new video Oliver! Hey I definitely recommend looking into Delica problems First online. They tend to have head gasket issues. The reason I mention this is because I spent two full weeks in September helping a friend swap out a diesel engine in a AWD Mazda Bongo camper van that had complete engine destruction from the owner overheating it on a trip. It was an awful awful job that I never wish Upon another person 😂 I know it was a different manufacturer but those engines are so packed in those vans it’s really hard to work on them. Honestly I’m thinking of getting a little 4x4 Ford Ranger truck ( much Cheaper than a Tacoma) and possibly building a small camper like the one I made for my mini truck for the Ford. Light, easy to build and the fact you can buy parts anywhere when your out on a road trip is important. Take care and I’m glad you enjoyed my video 😊👍
Please make more mini truck videos im currently building mine as of right now. Have spent atleast 2500 in aftermarket stuff I love this thing it’s my daily and only vehicle.

Thanks Dave! I really appreciate reading your comment 😊 that’s awesome you got a Samurai! I had one years ago. Definitely getting back to enjoying making the videos I want to make. I re watched your 18 mile coastline hiking/surf video a few days back, what an enjoyable video, it really made me Miss the Spring time and hiking, I’m hoping to take Ev on that hike this coming Summer. Take care and I hope to see you soon 👍😊
I think I can see that peek from my house! That means you could probably see me 😂 We went on one quick Chantrelle hunt this season with no luck, but its not over yet! Thanks for being the forest janitor.... these trashy people aren't going anywhere anytime soon....
This Fall I haven’t found as many Chanterelle’s compared to previous years, but like you said it’s not over yet, hopefully we can get a decent amount before the heavy frosts start. I hope all is going good these days for you 👍 thanks for checking out my new video!
Mike always enjoy your videos. This isnt about this one but a suggestion about moisture elimination with my plasma cutters as I have more than one. I use point of entry Motorgard filters. They remove all the airline moisture as well as any particles down to 5 microns and the elements are easily replaceable and inexpensive. They remove all the moisture and will greatly extend consumable life.. just a suggestion and I use 2 analog pressure differential gages to determine if the filter element needs changing. Flip
Very nice, we were on the east side of the Olympics on that same weekend it seems. Keep rocking it Mike and hope to cross paths with you on the trail one of these days.
Hello Mike, I’m loving the camper you and brother have build. Any plans on releasing a more in depth build video? I’m curious in what materials have been used for the hatches and what was used for outer skin and water tighten. Anyway keep up the great work and keep enjoying the little campers.
People are impatient. Everything is instant nowadays and it seems to affect people's minds when driving too. I get passed on a double yellow all the time when driving 5 over the speed limit. It's nice to just cruise and enjoy your surroundings.
I am jealous of your mini truck. Here in Ontario Canada insurance don't like them cause of their right hand drive. Insurance want over 2000.00 per year . I would trade my Yamaha Rhino in a heart beat for a kei truck
Hi Mike, Great Video. Can you post more information about that little Truck? It sounded like it had a little Diesel Engine. I was really impressed with the whole setup. Did you actually build the Camper? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
i see you use your phone as speedo. just wanted to mention i've had great luck with a gps speedo i bought on amazon for about $10. definitely helpful when there is no cell reception.
the product is "AWOLIMEI Car Hud GPS Speedometer" its 11.99 now i bought the cheaper one, and it just plugs into USB. my only gripe is the lack of dimming at night, but i threw some tinted film on mine to dim it@@Mikefestiva

Some Rooster tails will work as well. Great video Buddy!! Enjoyed it!!
People who criticise the Suzuki have no idea what they are on about. The great grand daddy of your 4wd Carry was released for sale in Australia around 1974, it was a soft top jeep style utility vehicle powered by a 660 CC 3 cylinder 2 Stroke engine, yes 2 stroke it had an oil tank under the bonnet that needed filling from time to time. The 'serious' 4 wd owners laughed at the tiny little car which sounded like a swarm of angry bees, had a measly 550 pound or so load rating and a cruise speed of 80kmh (50mph). They kept on laughing right up to the point when 4wd was selected and the heavy bulky Toyotas and Nissans of the day would bog down in sand or mud or get stuck on narrow tracks, all the time drinking fuel like no tomorrow. The bastard Suzuki drivers would just drive laps around the bogged Toyotas laughing and beeping their horn. I have total respect for Suzukis, they just do what it says on the packet, with little fuss.
Are bears a concern at this time of year? Living in Tasmania Aus as I do, is about as far from bears as you can get. We do have devils that will come into camp after dark scrounging any scraps or leftovers but they are only as big as your racoons. Noisy little blighters when they"re fighting but altogether harmless. Hearing them crunch kangaroo bones and the like is pretty interesting.

Thanks man 👍 I really appreciate it!
Man, i have seen a lot of your videos already, and one thing i can say, cooking & eating with chopsticks would make your meals much more practical.
Haha 😂
Great video! We found your channel looking for info on the Carry trucks. Cool setup!
Right on thanks for checking out my video, I actually have a lot of videos on my Carry, there quite a few covering maintenance on my truck as well 👍
Have you ever been told that you look like the cameraman from groundhog day (in the nicest way possible)
You dress better, and are likely better at dancing. Not a comment on your coolness, which is certified (for the record).
I know this is an older video, but check out the DJI action 4. Love mine! Way better than a go pro!
Your biggest "Red Alligator" fan still approves...LOL
Are bears a concern at this time of year? Living in Tasmania Aus as I do, is about as far from bears as you can get. We do have devils that will come into camp after dark scrounging any scraps or leftovers but they are only as big as your racoons. Noisy little blighters when they"re fighting but altogether harmless. Hearing them crunch kangaroo bones and the like is pretty interesting.

Great video.
Thanks 😊
