Sorry man, but you are in error regarding CG set with gear up, for 2 reasons. The most critical phases of flight are t/o and landing for any model, and in THIS case the CG shifts AFT when the gear come down. If you set the CG with the gear up then that point will move aft during the most critical phases of flight. So, respectfully, I suggest setting CG with the gear DOWN, at least initially.
The Gyro will make small corrections to help the plane track better. Its not invasive as safe mode. Safe mode will auto level when you release the sticks on the remote, it won't allow you to go inverted because it has limits on rolling and pitch angles.
@@ShadowStriker777 Gyro's have mutiple modes. You can setup regular Gyro to self level and other modes. Most guys will have a 3 position switch with Off, Gyro and self level modes.
Yeah, the battery placement in this video is WAY too far aft. I'm curious if he still flies with that CG when he doesn't have a 15 mph headwind to land into.
You did a good job flying and jet looks so good. I will wait for v2
And yes my buddy created a valley in foam for wires

what is the function of the gyro? Is that equivalent to the "safety" mode of the Eflite f14 twin 40mm jet???

@patmorris123 thanks for the response. So that means the Gyro will not self level the plane?

A good pilot can not make up for.. one wing not going back. Bad gyro . Rods popping off
