Sorry man, but you are in error regarding CG set with gear up, for 2 reasons. The most critical phases of flight are t/o and landing for any model, and in THIS case the CG shifts AFT when the gear come down. If you set the CG with the gear up then that point will move aft during the most critical phases of flight. So, respectfully, I suggest setting CG with the gear DOWN, at least initially.

So you take off with the wind and land with the wind !! Very novel approach

I just found your channel. How do you not have a bigger following? I learned a lot from watching, and over seen a bunch of freezing A10 videos. Most video seem to follow the same outline, but don’t talk a lot about mods. I didn’t think to stack battery’s like that, so I had to go try it out. It seems to settle better on the mains, hold the nose off longer, and doesn’t bounce at all. Thanks for the video guys. I wish’s your channel luck.

I bet I get as much or more flight time using a 6S 7000mAH battery, and at the upper end it becomes diminishing returns on thrust because of form drag. 12S is just another **** measuring contest. Great if you want to go that way, but a must? Not really, IMO.

I love my Frankenmotor 12blade 64mm! Like Fernando said, this airframe will fly itself. Off power, it behaves like a glider. I got about 8 fly days on it AND I am a new flyer, new new.

From Fernando. For anyone asking about the EDF setup... That's the fun part, testing different units to reach your goals. I'll also say that optimizing the intake path also helps, but the most crucial factor is the fan balancing... If anyone wants the best balancing work see above. (The Fan is a 12 blade put together with spare parts)
