Heck yes it would. Thanks Travis! Ya I’ve never broke one but wow this is miserable. It was feeling pretty decent but I took a pretty good blow to it and now it’s 10x worse! Having trouble getting out of bed currently 😂
I am more interested in this bike because of the lack of electric start, I like as simple as possible. But I understand mass market would like electric
Im from Portugal and like in all countries we have different types of riding from the USA and I wonder do those kind of single tracks have only a direction or is there a possibility for you to catch someone comeing your way ?
Yes drop the needle one position and try that.. that will give you more punch off the bottom as it will lean it a little off the bottom. How do you find the vibrations compared to a modern KTM? And you feel the suspension works well .. or is it too stiff ? Not sure how much you weigh though for the standard springs ?
Been looking at one of these, looks like a great all-rounder. I’m not looking to track much but it would be cool to be able to do a bit of both. Are parts easy to come by for this?
Forgive me, this has probably been asked before but what is your camera setup? Great vantage and seems mounted really solidly. I have got to improve my camera situation and im curious on what camera you use amd how its mounted.
Eyeing this as a potential first new bike. Sick of trying to ride rocky trails and single track with a motocross bike. 450 no less. Tall first gear is a no bueno for that. We do end up running some good gravel road to get to our riding spots though, so im curious what it will comfortably cruise at with 13/51 gearing. What about gas tank size? How many miles or hours on a tank roughly?
I'm running 13-50. I was running 13-51 and it was extremely short geared and loved to be short shifted. Still did about 60MPH in 5th Tank size gets you about 20 miles or 1.5 hours stock. I'd suggest an upgrade.
@@MichaelSchwab-nk4rmyes I have yz125 2003 an apex head an lectron carb is awesome bike is powerful an I save so much gas an bike just runs way better
hows the vibration? i heard the yz250x vibrate to where its very uncomfortable to ride for long distances. I wanna get one but that seems like a deal breaker for me cause i plan on trail riding it.
Hey man! In the front-- 1 in on rebound, 2 in on Compression Rear - 2 in on top, 1 in on bottom (high speed dampening nut all the way out then 1/4 turn in) I weigh 195lbs fully geared! hope this helps
@@THMXCO when you say "in", do you mean from adjuster turned all the way out? I usually count from all the way turned in... Just wanted to clarify. Thanks!
250X will definitely be one of the best bikes ever made
Some of the fastest, smoothest, nice trails I’ve ever seen 😮💨
Love the raw pov and Yamahas keep up the good work!
Appreciate the kind comments man! Lots of haters here
Electric start and that bike is a KTM killer. Beautiful trail. And bruised ribs are just about as painful as broken ribs. Ugh.
Heck yes it would. Thanks Travis!

I haven’t run into this yet! This is private property so at anytime there is usually only about 10 people across 2000 acres!
Amazing.. Really enjoyed watching this, but my Anxiety bro!! 🤣🤣
Another amazing spot. Bike seem to be running rich
Thanks man! What makes you think so?
@@THMXCO I heard it sputtering a bit

13-50 like he said is perfect. Also of you go with a Smart Carb2 or a Lectron you'll get wayyy better fuel economy and a much crisper running bike

Are you using a GoPro?
amazing
What graphics you got on that?
From an old fart who's last new bike purchase was an 1984 IT 200,,, this thing is just awesome... Yamaha just needs to put electric start on it!!!
No that bike is perfect just the way it is
How good on fuel?
