Just love my YZ250s, the 250x reigns supreme! I own 3 YZ250s can’t get enough of them. Best bike ever, best of all is that you can get the part’s cheap and fast. NO euro bike owner can claim that!
This is awesome man! So good to see other people riding enduro on a yz250x. I love mine more than any Ktm and it’s definitely going to be my only bike for a long time! You’ve got some Incredible speed too brother!
Ive been lusting over the yz250x. I cant afford one right now so ill just keep doing little upgrades on my old 2005 yamaha yz125 but at some point i want to get one. Looks like a great place to ride and a fun bike to ride on!
Great Vid, newly Subbed. I have a yz250 that I did a harescramble with and hated life...its played me out with the stiff suspension. I also track ride. I want the best of both worlds. Track/and tech trail. Will the 250X be the bike? or do I need both lol?
Awesome riding bro.. quick question.. coming from a klx300r , do u think I can handle the 250x ? I’ve never had a 2 stroke before , kinda worried about the powerband lol .. TIA
Ty, I got that 2023 yz250X on Friday. Took it out on Monday in the hills. Does your bike go to neutral easily on hill climbs when shifting from 2nd down to 1st? I'm taking mine back to Yamaha Shop today for review because mine kept wanting to go to Neutral no matter how I shifted or adjusted the clutch. I have ridden other Yz250X and they never felt this way. I got an 11 oz Flywheel and Billetron and both a 12 and 13 tooth front sprocket (I'll test each) on their way. Even completely stock on the first day, this bike did everything my tricked out-trail version Kdx 200 did, with ease. When it is dialed in, this bike will be unstoppable. Last question: Do you get used to the handlebar vibration or is it worth it to go to a Felx-Bar Mako 360 stuff?
@@THMXCO Sorry, I worded it in a confusing way. I meant the bike transmission would go too easily in neutral instead of going to 1st gear when I was shifting down from 2nd gear on a long hill climb. I bet the shop will get it squared away. I know it's not supposed to be that way.
@@tred2832 Ohhh. Yes I do have issues with hitting neutral in that sense quite often. I adjusted my lever a few teeth to compensate and haven't had the issue since :)
As far as handlebars..I had flexx bars on my x I liked the action but didn't like my bend so I put back on stock bars..the bike is more nimble and turns better because u can feel the ground better .though flex bars help alot with vibration .as long as your bike is jetted right vibration is not a real problem..jetting it right is key I know this from over 350 hrs on my x.i have never lost a drag race with a reg yz..though if it is a roll on start the reg yz qill bolt out in front the x will catch it by the time 4th winds out and its no contest from there..my top speed was faster than my friends 2022 husky TX 300..and alot more snappy the x revs alot faster especially if you know how to use your clutch and by the way I do have a magura hydraulic clutch it really helps u modulate the clutch in all condition especially tighter stuff worth every penny ..the flex bars good but not so much
With a little money you can make the 250x a stellar tight single track bike. Flywheel weight, rekluse clutch, sprocket change, electron/smart carb for consistent power, and an xc head for even smoother power on the bottom end
@@badcompany1313 I'm sure they are sweet bikes. I had a 2007 ktm xc-w and it had a 5 speed. The bike was awesome but I always thought a 6 speed would bring it to its full potential. If I were a 24' bike, it would be a 6 speed.
Haha I'm good man! I ride to have fun and post the videos. I don't ride for UA-cam. There's 2000 acres of rideable land at this place! :) So maybe soon but..eh

I haven't had that issue my friend! That's interesting! My bike def does not shift on it's own like that!

Haha believe it or not there are people a lot faster than me. But to answer your question I have ridden bikes for a very long time
I thought he was just cruzing lol.
@@dormantmenace That's right!
Do you wish it had a 6 speed and a e start? How does it do in the extreme tight stuff? EFI? Does it feel like a mx bike with wider gears?

can this bike go for 50 mile full tank?
Wow nothing but nice ass dirt with no rocks
Gotta love it man!
I thought he was gonna jump the hill at 10:30 but realized at 10:33 why he didn’t😂
Where do you ride? I'd love to go somewhere smooth and fast like that!
This is in Montana, but lots of similar trails in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho
@@THMXCO Nice. I'm in the wet roots and rocks these days but dying to get back to some of that fast western riding. Thanks for the video!
