THIS has been a difficult week. World events, the death of a very dear friend. Also, the death of Suzanne Somers reminded me of my small interaction with her from many years ago.

My mom and dad both 95 are at the end of life. I sit between them both in hospital beds but a home, watching their chests go up and down knowing any minute they will not. I can't imagine what that's going to feel like. I'm so sorry for your loss. 💔
That is a lot to bear at once. I am so sorry to hear of your forthcoming loss. I know it means a lot to them both that you are there with them. Please take some comfort knowing that you are doing a wonderful service in respect for your parents.
Have you looked into Hospice help? Finding partnerships to help care for your loved ones really helps to take care of the family as a whole. Interviewing several agencies can give you a better feel of a healthy fit to all your families' personal needs. Your Dad and Mom may prefer different personality types and then the individual(s) need to pass your requirements. There should be a local agency that specializes on aging services to get you started on referrals. Bless your heart, I am sure your plate is full and hopefully, with help, you are able to relax a bit and share in your own loving quality time with family and friends. Hospice nurses are amazing angels and a blessing to have in your home. They have a keen eye and expertise to help guide thru end of life's unique situations.
I am thinking about you. It’s obvious they have a very loving child. They are so lucky to have you there with them. Talk to them, they can hear you. These moments will carry you and soothe you.
I know your life seems horribly sad at this moment- both my parents are at home with Jesus...there's never enough time together but know that they know that you are with them, that the pain you are feeling will in time lesson. I've found that reading about those that have experienced death but then miraculously come back to life, that heaven is a wonderful place- it's those of us still here on earth that feel pain. They will be your guardian angels- look for signs, they are everywhere if you believe..know you are not alone. Prayers for you and your beautiful family. You are all children of God, no matter the time on earth. ❤
So sorry for you it will be sad for you but they are both together going into the next world .my dad died 15 years ago and I still miss him❤my dear mum is 98 now it is a wonderful to still have her ,but am already sad at what must come.😢 I am just 80 myself.xx
So sorry to you and your friend for your loss. I experienced the loss of my husband 6 months ago, it was devastating. I miss him every day. Hug your loved ones and let them know you love them.
Yes, I am afraid we are all grieving over our country and all that has happened. So sorry about your friend, as we get older, again I am afraid we are having to deal with this more and more. The video is darling. I loved Suzanne, she was a very special person with a heart of gold. She will truly be missed by so many. Love you and hope you feel better soon. My best friend’s husband died this year too. It was the first one of the five couples we were close with for almost fifty years. It is heartbreaking. So sorry for your loss.

Oh Patty, I feel so sad for your loss of your friend. The loss of Suzanne Somers, she was a very funny person. There is just so much happening in the world today, and none of it is good. We all have to keep praying to God, and be kind to one another. Patti you look lovely in anything you wear. You are a beautiful woman.

So very sorry on the loss of your dear friend's husband Patti !October is a rough month for my family! We lost our son in law 6 years ago he was only 45 ! I loved Suzanne also ! I truly believe everyone loved her ! So down to earth! I loved watching her video's on u tube ! I will keep us all in my prayers ! The world needs a ton of prayer's right now ! Even just one simple prayer a day!

I could never pull off the same stylish ensembles as you put together. But it is very comfy. Suzanne rocked and will continue to rock the stars. A lot of people will never realize what a true trailblazer Suzanne Somers has been. A truly amazing and humble leader strengthening our womanhood. I don't know, I guess I've just gotten at the age where I'm losing friends almost on a daily basis with several close calls myself. I have to keep reminding myself to be thankful for the time I've had to spend with friends and loved ones. God bless us one and all.
Condolences to your friend. Two of my best friends lost their husbands to sudden heart attacks. With all the chaos and violence in the world it's hard to stay positive, but we have to find a way to try.

I remember buying one of those ponchos after seeing your video! I’m a long time follower as you can tell. So much tragic news lately, it’s hard to not be glum. I’m 70 and have lost my best friend and so many others. I thank God every day for my good life and wonderful husband. I’ll never take this good life for granted.

I had my best friend pass away from cancer about 5 years ago! I’ve known her since she was three and I was five. I was close to retiring and we plan to do everything together again! 66 years of being friends! I know how you feel. The memories keep our friendship alive.

I ended up buying it at Harmon Drugs! Suzanne, oh how surprised and so sad I was hearing of her death. She was such a part of our lives (at least most of us) from Three’s Company and onward. Oh I am so sorry for your loss Patti. My best friends just found out that her husband may only have 2 weeks to live & already he is going down fast. It is very difficult for my friend of 50 years to hear that suddenly. My heart goes out to all those suffering with loss.

I am in shock . I bought that top,, I just had to have it. Suzanne made it seems so practical and beautiful. I tried it on and literally threw it in the closet as a shopping mistake. Months later cleaning out closet to find something to wear to a night out. I found this top. I put it on and thought it was dreadful cheap feeling but looked ok except for the neck.. I just couldn't get it to go right , finally did get some satisfaction, wore it out having a nice evening feeling comfortable. Threw back in closet. Ended up in the value village bag. Now I am wishing I still had it.

I'd just retired, & for the first time in my life, decided I was going to learn all about makeup/beauty/style. Your's was one of the first channels I found, after buying my first laptop computer~ yes, a bit late to the web world to be sure.

Hi Patti, I am so sorry about your dear friends husband. We were away on a cruise and my good friend and neighbor lost her sister to a massive stroke. She was keeping our little dog Notion and she told me he is an excellent therapy dog. I’m sure Biscuit was comforting to you as well. I loved Suzanne and I remember that video you did! So sorry for your losses Patti.......I know it's so difficult. Our family has gone through the same this year and still are. Life is too short and blessed are we to have lived and loved so many amazing ppl and good friends and family.........but oh what a loss when we lose them.

That was a great little fashion show Patti! I loved Suzanne, I had a few of her face masters and used them everyday.. I think they worked. I cried when I heard she passed! She will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss of your friends husband, so sad.. ❤️
I lost my very best friend of 53 years a couple of years ago and my life has never been the same without her. I miss her daily phone -visit where we laughed and cried together . I think I will never get over it. Occasionally I even speak to her , we were so close , she is in my thoughts every day. Patty I also am sorry for your loss . The passing of dear Suzanne S, is so sad and I hope that Allen is strong .What lovebirds they were .But as you all know, c'est la vie mes amies.

Oh Patti... the 23/24 marks the one year anniversary of the crossing of my soul's partner... and the 19 of March will be one year of the crossing of my husband of 35 years... I innerstand the process of grief- I'm so sorry for your best friend's loss... and your loss as well... life is fleeting ...I have to admit, my heart sank when I saw the photo of Biscuit... what a relief that he is fine. And the death of Suzanne Somers really is a loss... I never figured she would leave so young... she was a fighter.. may she now Rest Peacefully.
I hope that better times are ahead, Patti... keep all of the kids in your mind and heart... they are a good way to ground ourselves... center ourselves... to renew the child within our own selves... one moment at a time!

My sweet 95 year old neighbor hasn't been doing well, the way she clung to me when our vist was over about broke my heart.

You are such a lovely lady. Wow!!! You did great styling the poncho so many ways and they was all so cute. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost a real dear friend about 3 years ago to cancer. I didn’t realize what a hole would be left in my heart when she passed. Of course, I have so many fond memories of us together and so thankful for that. My sister was In Israel when the war start. She and her church group was at Masada which is almost 60 miles away. I reckon they could hear things happening. Of course immediately they closed the borders and national parks. She and her church group had peace. We was all praying for them. All of that happened on Saturday, by the grace of God they flew out of Tel Aviv Tuesday after that Saturday. Yes, it is heart breaking. She said it was eerie quiet because all the businesses closed because they got called up to serve in the Military. I am praying for Israel, the hostages and the families of the hostages, the ones killed and those that are serving their country and had to leave their families to fight. Praying for you friend that God gives you and all effected comfort during this time. It seems like I remember Suzanne wearing a poncho. She fought a long battle didn't she. You take care.

I love watching your videos and see the graceful, lovely changes as you embrace aging and all its challenges! I'm 68 this year and need all the confidence I can get! I planned on making more videos on some interesting things I've learned and gone through, but honestly this is much harder than I ever thought at least for me? I end up just staring at my camera iPhone and just blanking out. so, I'll just continue to enjoy!

I too had a very hard week. 2 funerals. One my Sgt that hired me at my last job. Past away. Thursday it was a hotter day. The funeral over 3 hours. Long processional and long gravesite then long drive there n back home!!
Second funeral. A very close friend. Of over 30 years.
I pray for all of us our tears will dry. Our hearts heal. And we appreciate those remain. That Loves Us. 🙏
