I spotted your fringey jacket as Chico's right away. I've only shopped there once, when I was back in the states on a visit twenty-odd years ago, but I found what may have been my favorite piece of clothing ever: a 'Levi's' style jacket with straight roll up sleeves, but not denim. Instead, it was made of khaki brown cotton sheeting with a beautiful embroidered design that looked as if it was made in India. I wore that dear thing until it literally began to disintegrate. I still have it, and hope to get around to copying it one day.
After losing my hubby in 2017, I just haven't felt the same way about myself. Always sad. Then I found your fabulous channel the other day. After watching your video on foundation, I put my makeup on and went out for a cocktail 🍸 😅. You make me feel alive again.

My inseam is 25”. Many petite inseams are 27-29”. I’m so grateful for ankle length pants.

I found you a few years ago and watch you off and on. I am 67 and went to private school all 12 years. Wearing a uniform I missed the time of life where girls love to dress and play with makeup. Both my sisters look and dress like models. My mom had me late and never had time for me. She was tired and depressed. I never learned how to dress or do makeup. I suffer terribly from depression and I care for my 46 yr old son who has seizures. Thanks for caring to be beautiful. I can’t imagine have 1/100th of the clothes you have. I wish I had your drive. I feel old and ugly and can’t seem to get out of that funk. Do you really love all those clothes? I drive people who have addictions all day in my job and try to make them smile but when I look in the mirror I can’t believe what a site I am. God bless what you do for women. Blessed holidays ahead.
Stop ✋️ being hard on yourself. You seem like a lovely, caring person. I too have a son who has epilepsy and I do care for him. I find joy in many things, gardening, keeping. Tidy home. We all find joy sometimes. I hope you realize how special you are .
It's amazing what a bit of blusher and a wee bit of a rose red lipstick does to brighten the face. Spend some time caring for yourself, not just everyone else.
I am sorry about the relationship (or lack thereof) you experienced growing up with your mom. who must have had her own struggles. I can tell that remains painful for you, and is understandable. What you did not learn from her, why not learn from Patti… in conjunction with the many other UA-cam ladies of your choice who demonstrate how they do their hair , makeup, and put together outfits! Observe and practice! It’s really not hard…. But fun! The basics are all you really need to begin, and soon you’ll be off to the races! If you currently do not wear much makeup, start slowly and inexpensively. Note content creators that are close to your skin, hair and eye coloring and purchase lesser expensive make-up that is similar to what you see them using, color wise. Again, you do not need a lot go get started! Try to watch those that demonstrate application techniques. Apply lightly , at least to begin with, and blend well.. at least in most instances. You could also visit department stores or makeup stores (Ulta/Sephora…) that will demonstrate their makeup on you…. Watch in the mirror and ask questions! Be honest with them right at the beginning, that you know nothing or little about using makeup or technique and want to learn. Don’t be embarrassed or intimidated. We just don’t know what we do not know! But we CAN learn! They are there to help you! (Most likely they are there to SALE, also, so do NOT let them talk you into purchasing) items you do not want or that are way over what you can afford! In so doing, you should really begin to feel more comfortable in choosing good colors as well as learning good application for yourself. (Should you feel the makeup they sale beyond your price range, perhaps just purchase some smaller item that you could actually use, if they have given you a good bit of time and instruction.
Hair…Look for those content creators with similar hair as you and do the same regarding face shape to help you find hairstyles you might find flattering and enjoy. -Quite likely you will need to find at least several different people/channels for their coloring, hair type, hair coloring and body size to learn about clothing styles as well as makeup, that might best work for YOU! -Just experiment! Have fun and don’t rush or let yourself feel intimidated or pressured to fit a mold other than your own. All of these areas are very individual. Realize every single one of these people learned the same things you are interested in…. perhaps just a bit earlier in life. And many ladies find themselves in the exact same situation you are in. The point is you can learn too! As for clothing, you really do not need a lot, nor do your items need to be expensive! Choose flattering colors and for your coloring that YOU love! Again, begin with styles that both appeal to you that you see others wearing with similar coloring to you. Buy clothing that actually fits you, that you feel good in, and that suits your lifestyle! It’s all pretty simple. Sure, it will take some time and you will have some misses, but you will also learn and feel you are making progress! If you have some friends you admire, regarding their appearance, reach out to them for tips… perhaps even your sisters? Maybe someone you trust to be of help could shop with you to begin with, or advise you in at least some ways. -We are never too old to learn a few new tricks! You can do this! Take your time, there is no rush. Feel free to watch and re-watch sections of videos over and over to help you understand applications you don’t quite understand. Rewind and replay watching closely for details you might not understand right off the bat.
You seem like a warm, kind and thoughtful person. You deserve to feel you present yourself nicely as you are out and about driving your passengers around, and even when you are just at home with you and your son. I find when I learn even a small component of a thing…. I am interested in learning more. You might find this true for you as well! The best of luck to you should you decide to attempt such endeavors. Small steps can soon add up go big changes! Be blessed!

OH !!!!! I would keep the size 2 and take off the beautiful cuff bottom on those sleeves and put them on a jean jacket that FITS ! If you sew, you can do it yourself, if not, have a seamstress do it for you !!!

That is a very nice wardrobe. I particularly love the brightly colored top. I have similar white shoes. Mine are quilted with a tiny gold heart on the outside of the upper. In Canada we are prepped for winter and my red rose quilted coat with embroidery, and frog buttons with matching accessories is hanging in the hall, waiting for use. Thanks for the lovely fashion show. Little Biscuit seemed to enjoy it too.

I live in ankle pants and cropped pants. I love them! My mom was a teenager in the late 50’s and that’s all she wore back then, too 😊 I’m 64 and 5’10” tall. So, ankle and cropped pants for me are normal length pants for most, lol! I adore you ❤️🤗
Ankle pants are a perfect choice for us smaller ladies. I hate hemming pants!
I absolutely love all the different colors and styles. I’m 71 and folks are always pushing black.
I don’t think that we should wear black at all certain age!
81 here, and I love wearing black to dress up, especially since my hair's gone platinum. Fortunately my skin's stayed fresh enough to stand up to it, and I accessorize with fresh clear colors in jackets or scarves. But my very favorite everyday basic color is olive brown; it goes so well with clear red, turquoise, coral pink, violet. It all depends on your color family.

I love the clothes you showed. I like simple, casual clothes. Have never liked anything fussy. I’m soon to be 90! Imagine that! I get catalogues from Chicos. Thei clothes are so nice. The sizes are confusing so I haven’t order anything from them. I just found your channel. Enjoying it very much!
I wear a women's size 8 dress, and am 120 lbs., 5 ft. Tall. At Chicos, I wear a 0. Just go in and take a look... they're happy to help! Love their quality!!! They also sell (I think they do) at a Chico's Off the Rack... online. Good luck

Matching tops and bottoms kind of look like pajamas. I'd skip the bottoms. Wear something a bit more fitted. Colors are nice!
Nothing that she is wearing looks like pajamas on her, and it might on some people, but she doesn’t look frumpy whatsoever always classy and put together. I love all the outfits ON HER…. Maybe they would look like pajamas on someone else.
@@cleigh951 True, she looks good in her outfits. She carries herself so well. I liked the black pants better because they showcased her slim legs. I was okay with the tops on the matchy outfits, just not the bottoms. I had a couple of outfits similar back in the nineties.

I love the dark slacks and white flowered top the best. The blue long sleeve with puffy sleeves, is so pretty with your eye color.
I love Chicos, I wear the same size you do, except I have to have a petite, sometimes they still have to be hemmed. My husband is so clever, he hems my pants! I love your shoes. Have a pair exactly like them. They are beginning to show some wear and cannot find another pair.

Yes! It was so flattering I really thought it looked so nice on her and complemented her a lot! I think that cut of shirt in the set is really nice for her ♡
I'm 58. I shop at LL Bean on line and Talbots on line. Talbots is expensive, so I wait for sales. They sell cheap clothes made of plastic fabrics sometimes so I'm careful and picky. I got 100% organic cotton crocheted cardigan in light gray. It is VERY heavy. So heavy I thought about returning it. It was $44.00. and beautiful. That's why I shop there. LL bean has my pima cotton tee shirts that are my signature look. I have the rainbow for warm seasons and a second set of seasonal rainbow with longer sleaves for colder seasons. Everything else I have is minimal and neutral colored. I also buy men's jeans there. They fit me better and are 100% cotton, but not for long so I stocked up on a couple of pairs. I have hiking shoes with great support and a pair for summer along with sport sandals and I have a very limited wardrobe of "going out" clothes. I guess it's two or three outfits with shoes and a bag.I have a 50/50 winter coat (the best I could do with my budget) and a 100% wool autumn jacket. I have LL bean winter boots. That about covers it. Just nightgowns/pajamas and maybe a couple of shirts. I bought a lot of this recently because I lost 60 pounds and because I am on a forever diet (not a hunger diet or one that deprives. I just ate dessert) I'll stay this weight. Oh my heavens, you were certainly upstaged by that sweet pup - the tail wagging was the cutest. The clothes looked great, except for the light blue sweat suit from Amazon…the top needed to be longer because the pants weren’t flattering. Check this out again and take note of the area the pants emphasize. This is exactly what I would tell a good girlfriend of mine, it’s not meant to be a negative comment. You looked great in the outfits that had the tunic length tops. Thanks for the fashion show.❤

We seem to have similar tastes. I too bought a Jean jacket and put a pin with a flower and hummingbird on it. I also bought three velvet lounge sets with hood. Great price st Macy's this fall. I also got a floral print wide leg pant..so cool in summer. Fun video. 👍💕
