Yes, I grew up when there was no air conditioning. I lived in Southern California so it wasn’t too bad but there was days in the summer where it got really hot. I’m 68.

I live in Yorkshire l found your video interesting.l would love to see your journey as you get your house in order and put your own stamp on it.Loved those linen trousers.l lovr linen and naural fibres in the Summer so much cooler.

We do, its not a wired in unit though like in other countries.. I have a portable in the hall. It blows cold air and/or you can fill with cold water or ice for extra cold! was great a couple of years ago through that hot summer! .. We just don't get the weather to use it very much!! LOL.

I enjoyed this so much! Huge congratulations on your new place and yes! Please show us and give us your tour and tips. I love interior design too and I made a major move in 2019 and I'm always tweaking. It takes a while to figure out the space and how you want to live in it.. Plus my kids are grown now but in 2009 my wonderful husband died which was completely catastrophic for all of us. They were 9 and 11 so I raised them alone and I'm incredibly thankful that they're both thriving but they live many states away so it's now just me. I've dated but never pulled the trigger;)! Thanks so much for sharing!
