    It's not easy explaining this stuff. You have the gift to teach and displaying countdown of bars and beats helps alot. Keep it coming, i feel your channel will grow exponentially among dj community.

      Much appreciated 🙏🏾 - really appreciate your feedback because I sometimes don’t know if I’m trying to explain too much too quickly. But I think most people are able to follow along so far.
      I plan to drop some more in depth full courses in the future that takes thing slow, but I always plan to upload these shorter videos as well.
      Much more to come - and man, I really hope so 🙏🏾. Would be cool to see videos eventually of people that I’ve helped. Would really make my day.

      @@DJLiftOFF I am more of a slow blend dj, but would like to be more confident using simple scratches to drop in a song here and there. Being rhythmically deaf lol, your breakdowns of your scratch transitions have helped tremendously. Looking forward to all your future content!

    Thanks a lot for the video on transitions. I liked the first one. I would like to try it by activating the echo effect and two beats later backspin the echo trails

      You’re welcome! Definitely play around and get creative with it! I like to put the ideas out, and think experimenting with them is always best 💯

    thanks bro for you hard work on making these videos they are appreciated! Also what your using real turntables and not a controller or Rane 12s

    • @DJLiftOFF

      You’re very welcome, and appreciate you 🙏🏾.
      I used to use pioneer PLX 1000’s before I got the Rane’s and I actually loved them. The rane’s are just much cheaper and long run. This was also before “phase” came out though, so I may have kept using my PLX’s honestly.

    Noice :)
    I use something similar to No.2 sometimes to jump a up/down BPM, you can Tap to the new BPM and it kinda hides that you loop is a different BPM. But like you say you need a continuous sound, Vocal, Synth, Horn, Woosh type sound.

      And yup, I can definitely see that being useful 💯

    I definitely have the wrong gear. (Traktor Kontrol S3 MK3). My Crossfader doesn't act like yours even when set to sharp which it the extreme setting in Traktor.

    • @DJLiftOFF
      @DJLiftOFF  Рік тому

      Ahhh, I haven’t used that particular controller or traktor. Hopefully there are additional settings you might be able to use - or did you end up getting some other gear??

    Who's youtube channel did you watch to help you learn on how to make good seamless transitions

    • @DJLiftOFF
      @DJLiftOFF  2 роки тому

      Honestly, the transitions that I personally do are a mixture of DJs I’ve heard live (not necessarily “big time DJs) and things that I’ve created or tried to make unique through listening to others. There’s no 1 particular DJ I watched, but I would definitely suggest watching people like Jordan Lee and Carlo Atendido on UA-cam. They both have have really good transitions.
