I just bought the RF 28mm f2.8, Canon's most tiny RF lens to this date, this is why...
I've been shooting the Fujifilm x70 for 8 years now and I really
got used to the 28mm focal length to document daily life.
Since I noticed the fujifilm needed to be replaced because of some errors,
I chose to buy the canon rf 28mm f2.8 to use with the canon R6 MkII as a daily carry.

One of Canons sharpest RF lenses. Underrated to the max, sure it has drawbacks such as a slow and noisy focus motor, loss of contrast when pointed towards bright light sources and unfortunately it sucks in dust like no other RF lens, but the positives outweighs the negatives. It is really impressive what they have made in such a tiny package. I also like how one can always add it to the kit without really thinking about it. Going out looking for wildlife with a heavy telephoto for instance.. maybe the need for something wider appears, a landscape setting etc.. and the RF 28 is there to deliver.

Congrats on the new lens, it's a great little one. I've been trying to get real strong, so my daily carry of late is a 1DxII with a 50mm 1.2
