Thanks, watching some videos before installing mine and yours is quite useful, when I see how you adjusted the depth of the flange causing the leak. Well done, thanks sir!

This is the exact video I needed to pull the trigger on this faucet 😮🤯 I thought it was too good of a deal, but you’ve convinced me otherwise! Thanks for making this!!

Steve, this looks beautiful. My question is, in the automobile industry there is a process at the dealer or aftermarket - of applying ceramic coating to the finish which then provides a slick ultra-hydrophobic coating to where nothing sticks to the surface and literally self dries as the water sheets off of the surface, and lasts a very long time….have you or anyone in the tiling / plumbing profession tried or thought about applying this ceramic coating to shower walls? I would imagine this could assist in preventing water spots and/or soap scum deposits with little maintenance. Would be cool to see if you could try this.

My shower like this is dripping water continuously from the shower head when off. Issue appears to be caused by one knob. Please advise.

Thank you. What is the thread size for the female port in the wall? Should it be installed flush with the tile?

In hindsight, would you change your overhead lighting design based on how the upper shower head can possibly obscure it? Or in this small of a space would it not matter as much?

Thanks for posting. I follow and bought your course online. Went with Koehler Hydrorail, but bought all the individual components on eBay, $1800 system for $800. Looks like my install..put it together..find that it leaks..put it together again. AlWays the case for me with a lavatory/sink waste drain.

If you had it to do again, would you change the mounting depth of the 90-Degree Drop Ear Elbow so that it was recessed more and use an extension or protruding more to avoid cutting the escutcheon plate?

Hmmm... watching Steve screw in the adapter... starting around the 1:37 mark... the "elliptical" rotation of the fitting going into makes it look like he cross-threaded it. Then again ...he adjusts the final level of the fittings by further tightening the adapter so I'm guessing the adapter had a built-in leveling feature

Thanks for sharing this video and information. My contractor recommended this shower system. While he was showing me the Amazon description earlier today a recent client of his called and raved how much she was enjoying using this exposed shower he installed for her !🎉❤️

I almost bought that shower system but ended up with all matching Kingston Brass faucets for my vanity sink, clawfoot tub and an exposed pipe shower faucet for the separate shower. I’m getting to finish in the rough in plumbing and I hope I get the distance right for the drop ears. That shower has great flow I hope mine is similar! Thanks for sharing that shower came out awesome!

I'm looking at ordering all kingston brass for my bathroom remodel. How did yours turn out? are you happy with their products? seemed like they don't have as many shower options. i've read mixed reviews so have been on the fence. the price on this shower he installed is super cheap but seems to have lots of good reviews

Did you go with the brushed brass or polished brass by chance? Would love your feedback if you have time.

@@amandahale3247 the brushed brass is beautiful and overall very happy with the quality. All of the faucets are heavy duty.
The shower system I ordered was misleading on Wayfair it is actually for a clawfoot tub Mount and not a shower wall Mount after consulting with Kingston Brass.
I ended up with the shower system from Vintage Tub and the finish is identical to Kingston Brass. It came in the same type of box made in Taiwan I bet was made in the same factory as Kingston Brass. Vintage Tub does not have a matching vanity or clawfoot tub faucet in the same finish though.
I’m finally on the wall and ceiling finishing my project has been going on for a year now slow progress!
      Good luck with your project!

@@amandahale3247 yes I went with the Brushed Brass finished. I don’t like shiny gold.
Honestly we were going with all flat black in the beginning and decided to do the fixtures in brush brass to give the bathroom a pop of color and class.

thanks! and i know the feeling...our house remodel been in progress for many many months now. I decided to go with kingston brushed brass vanity faucet and tub filler. And I'm going to go with either Kohler or moen for my shower components...whichever matched closest. Haven't gotten my kingston in the mail yet to text/compare which will be closest. They won't be exact match but my shower isn't seen from the main entry area so it shouldn't be too obvious anyhow
