When Lesley said "check in & see what's going on in your mind," I was thinking of my mom which is ok, but it is mindful work to think of her/them, and yet be aware and let it go and try not to dwell. I was hoping for a gentle one today, I woke up with tired muscles from a few days of yoga and running a bad thunderstorm with kids in bed sleep! So nice just what I needed. I love these videos!
I have gotten my husband on to this program, and he's only a couple weeks behind me . This morning we did his day 16 practice together and that was neat. Now this evening I did my day, this nice gentle routine and am happy it was a good before bedtime yoga, not one that sent me for another shower!

Excellent! I totally agree about not working harder, but smarter...stress does literally “make us fat” as the constant cortisol release lays on the belly fat....I love that legs up the wall pose. AAAAAHHHHHH!

After a minor knee injury last week, this was the perfect way to ease back into practice. Legs up the wall was especially helpful since I run a store and was on my feet most of the day. It would be helpful ANY day, but my knee sure needed to be above my head for a bit, so thank you.

As my core strength has grown over 42 days practising with you, I have become aware of moving in the world from my centre (physically and emotionally). Unfolding into poses/life from a strong stable centre, and continuing to strengthen that centre is always my intention now. I have had a really bad day with lots of worrying since it started with bad new so my intention today was to let go of all my worrying, if not forever then just for a while. I felt so relaxed and peaceful during this class, thank you for lifting my spirit and ending my day in a better way.

My intention is always to be strong. A lot of the time in everyday life I find myself giving into the expectation that I am weak and can't succeed, so by practising strength during our yoga practises, it is allowing me to carry that on throughout my day.
