I'll have to get goatskin gloves. I tried the pigskin lined tillman gloves for bringing in firewood this winter and they formed a hole after only 2-3 months. I rubbed obenaufs to soften them up and waterproof but pigskin seems to be inferior to cowhide.

@@SageToSawtoothBushcraft The goatskin gloves were great, much more dexterity and comfort than regular cow gloves, and lasted longer than the pigskin gloves. They didn't hold up to heavy work, but for light work and the occasional blackberries they did just fine. I would definitely buy them again.
