- I wanted to share with you my step-by-step process of studying and reading Shakespeare's plays. I am the type of student who cannot just sit and study. I need structure, so I develop a process for everything. I included some tips as well as suggestions on where you could start. Hopefully, this will be of help to others!

Thank you for this video!!! ❤
Those are great tips. I have a moderate experience of the plays, and I enjoy the tragedies the most. My 10 deserted island books would include Hamlet, I think.
Just discovered this video and subscribed to your channel.
Yeah Shakespeare’s work is definitely worth looking into.
Thank you!❤
Yeah…his works are incredibly inspiring.
Thank you Eva for this. I'm intimidated by Shakespeares' works, so getting a breakdown of how to approach them is extremely helpful. Your videos are so informative and enjoyable. I bought Macbeth in the Folger Edition to read, as I didn't want to read it from the big bind-up that I had. I'm happy with my choice now☺️ Please keep content like this coming, it’s very helpful🙌🤗
Thank you Kelly! I’m glad you liked it. Can’t wait to hear your comments on Macbeth. 👀
The Historical Plays are my Favorites
Julius Caesar was my favourite one for the longest time. Now, the more I read Shakespeare, the harder it is to choose which one I like the most. 🤣
But u argued for universalism so it is not wise to then say do not remove this from historical context. I agree with the latter but not with ur former claim
I mean universality in a literary sense-archetypes and themes everyone can relate to, such as death, power, love, rivalry, etc. Then there is the historical context. Sorry for the confusion! It's okay to disagree 🙌
