  • I'm sorry for posting so late. I've been super busy because I'm in the last weeks of my session. In this video, I explain what a tragic hero is and the difference between a tragic hero and a superhero. I've been wanting to make this video for a long time. Working on this today helped me to cope with my anxiety. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better and back at making these informative and necessary videos🤗 The influence of the West, America specifically, I agree, has caused Superheroes, to be considered, as the only viable hero type. The tragic hero is dismissed, however, I see a slight change in the thinking of some of our modern-day readers, against the prevailing viewpoint.

      Thank you, Kelly!
To be fair, we also tend to confuse the word ‘protagonist’ with ‘hero.’ That adds another layer to the debate 😅. All the stories have protagonists, but not all the protagonists are heroes. 😵‍💫

ROCHESTER!!! He's MY No. 1 tragic hero! (Um, the dude featured in 'Jane Eyre,' right?)
