Back in the 1970s we would have been overjoyed with any of todays bikes . I remember how I felt the first time I ran DH on my Foes Weasel ! Sir , that's a very ,very nice bike and the blue reminds me of a GT Avalanche from the late 90s . Merci pour votre video mes ami . Bonjour de Louisiane .

I LOVED demoing the chilcotin on the north shore. I was surprised how "small" the medium felt even with the geo numbers. I'm 5'10 and thought there was plenty of stability in the chunk and agility in the flow.

Agreed! It “feels” shorter than the numbers suggest.

Interested in seeing how a full 29 setup feels vs your diy mullet

Ya me too! I have a wheel ready to go and I plan to do some back to back testing over the next month.

Thanks for showing us the bike. Did you downsize to a medium or is that what you typically ride? That seemed like the big question for the new Chilcotin because of the long reach numbers.

Thanks! I would typically ride a size large in most brands. I spoke a bit with the Knolly staff about sizing and they confirmed my choice to go medium on the Chilcotin (I’m 5’11”). The medium Chilcotin feels about right for me, and after riding it I think I could probably get along with a size large, but it would be at the expense of some playfulness.

my new Nomad frame is pretty much the same Teal as the decals on your frame, and my 2018 V10 is pretty much the same Blue and teal as yours. beautiful bikes all around. (edit) are those decals "oil slick" or chrome? looked teal at first lol
