He plays everything with the attitude that each instrumentalist has with his instrument. He is not a guy who can just play several instruments, he is a drummer, a guitar player, a singer, a sax player... what an absolute genius.
I love Roy's voice- the master of rock and composition. People don't realise how much work and technicality goes into making a rock song. (I hope he told his girlfriend about dismantling the gusset of her panty hose!)
6:02 Roy mentions buying a "PZM from a local Tandy or Radio Shack for about £35." That's exactly what I did at the time (after John Peel had recommended them). I still have a couple set up inside an upright piano. I wish I'd bought dozens of them back then. They were tremendous value for money and I'd like to see them back on the market.
All is revealed in Part 4, including the end credits. The song is "If This Love is Magic" - fairly cookie-cutter Roy Wood stuff. It was never released. They do a "final mix" in part 4.
@@TheMacasso You would need to look at All Videos. I made a quick playlist for you. Unless there is a copyright issue with them you should be able to see them all here: ua-cam.com/play/PLSzfgpwMAqb0VE0WR6suwwzurVXO9SBgR.html
@@mafru2 thanks very much - I will bookmark these 4 - I'm actually writing a book on THE MOVE at the moment so I am looking through lots of Roy Wood + Move stuff and interviewing people over in the UK *** so thanks for this I appreciate your extra little bit of effort there. Have a good day Jim
