I watched your video & thoroughly enjoyed it! I have very little knowledge of shifting never driven a manual. But I've had three vehicles now that has automatic / manual optional shifting. This is the first one I've owned with paddle shifters. I purchased a 2024 Forte GT. I'm a very grown woman but I liked the car enough to purchase it. The type of car enthusiast you are, you probably giggle at my choice but it's enough for me lol Enjoyed you! Keep it coming🏍️🚗

Great video, the poor gas mileage is probably from running e85. It burns a lot quicker. You could just go to map 2 and run some 91. Might increase your mileage a bit. However these cars are not the greatest for mpg.

Any advice for better mileage. I have a 2013 Kia optima SX and it drinks like 18 miles in a city.

I'm liking your video content. I especially like the steering wheel. 2020 stinger gt2 awd. Ceramic silver. I call it slvrbllt, cut it shoots like a bullet. Mods: k & n CAI, front mount intercooler, OCC, jb4 running map 2 at the same time of jb4 install, installed hks spark plugs, cross drilled/slotted rotors on all 4s.

I have a wrx cvt, get shit get it but when driving with the paddles it’s literally as much fun as a stick shift 👍🏼 keep up the content man you have viewers

Got to love people who believe in paddle shifting… basically everyone who has it. The auto trans is designed to shift at the perfect time every time
But doesn’t sound as good as manually choosing your shifts

Hi I experienced some misfire only wen doing downshift no cel code or whatever just monitoring with obd2 scan mode 6 , down shifting around 2-3 k rpm anybody else can monitoring and check if it’s kinda generalized…thx

I like my gt2 stinger some days, but I wish I went with the 4-cylinder just for fuel economy. Getting about 20-22 combined with Ca gas prices isn't fun.

If you have full traction off it won’t upshift by itself

1) is it okay to downshift while pressing brake?
2) would using paddle shifter (properly) a lot damage the car?
3) My injen intake weirdly dont make “pssh” sound like it used to be do you know what cause that?? do i need to clean it??

He had BOV that's why his car had sound like that. Only intakes can't make your car sound like that.
@@duytan6584 I meant the intake sound not the bovs. My intakes sound use to bigger when it release air but now it seems like it doesn’t release air “completely” somehow 🧐

Can you save gas by driving it at a higher gear than usual because the RPMs would be lower?
I think your best option is eco mode and having a light wheel setup.

Was wondering this too. I got the intakes and BOVs and don’t quite have that prominent of a hiss sound

@@DARKRISE yh, im running the afe takeda intakes, so more or less better CAI's, the injens arent actually cold air and their open so thats why probs
You'll get better mpg using cruise control 😂 and nit flooring it, I'm at 21 mpg

My gt1 has a aftermarket dual exhaust but I have no clue what brand it is as the seller didn’t have a clue.
Also was wondering if there’s a dual exhaust replacement fender option so I don’t have two false exhaust tips.

What up! So from running it for a while now… I think its more of a flex at some points. For example I have N/A cameros, charges, mustangs and many other that challenge the stinger at times and its awesome when they can here both the exhaust and the Turbos rather then just exhaust 👍
