I’ve been married before when I was very young and didn’t have the skills for marriage. Yes people it take skills to be married. Maturity understanding and patience being the virtues of marriage. I didn’t have any of it. I had a son very early on and raised him myself for 16 years and now in my early 40’s I am ready with all the skill sets and what I guess I waited for without even knowing is I was waiting for a man with a good deen alhamdullilah and may have found someone compatible finally. I am literally at the end of the world (southern hemisphere), there are barely any Muslims and when I find them they end up being non-practicing. I feel marriage is too unrealistic for me and I am 23. Should I leave this country haha (I am considering this in the near future).
