Oh my gosh, I do that too! You listen to a book or something while stitching a piece and then when you go to pick that piece up again, you remember exactly where you were in the book the last time you picked it up! Hahaha! Loved all the finishes! :D I have been so tempted to start EPP.....so tempting.
Right! Like I can hear the voice in my head! haha! The EPP is fun! Tedious, but I think that's what makes it relaxing. And you likely have most of the things to get started!
Deadly Hollows looks great! If all the black is boring, you could do a couple of strands of black every time you finish a strand of another color, just to mix it up a bit.
I have thought about doing that... I did it a few times before but... bleh... haha! I should do some more black when I finish this section. And then it won't feel too painful later!

I Love Christmas stitching! But I think I'm realizing I don't have a christmas stitch... I don't think. I should maybe look at that. I thought about adding the name, but technically Hulk was my sister's dog and Snowball was my Brother in law's dog so I thought it might be nice for them to have their own. Plus you can stitch different gates and my sister wanted a different one. It's such an easy stitch though! only like 2k stitches, and very blocky.

I was worried about the linen, but it's not so bad! The slubs haven't been a problem yet... And thanks! Getting close to finishing it!
