9:34 yeah, with the bomb bay doors open, the radar cross section of the f-117 increases significantly, and it was one of the many different factors that contributed to the shootdown over serbia
Raytracing is probably the least useful addition for us air sim enjoyers. I dont have a nasa rig but i wanna maintain at least a stable 120fps at 1440p and DLSS makes cockpit sights pixellated and blurry, so thanks but no thanks gaijuub.
@@spasti7026 Of course, but he wants to maintain 120fps because it's better for gameplay as it's easier to track planes and it feels better. 60 FPS is alright but 120 fps is much better.
When you're that high in the F117, turn your engines to 0% well ahead of your target and coast over it. You wont show contrails with your engine at 0% and the Nighthawk has great energy retention at high altitudes.
Def a plane to fly with friends/escorts 😬 They didn't give the Radar Locating System to the f117 and they gave it a larger radar signature than it has in real life. (Edit: I totally forgot, like thatOn3 said, pretty sure this automatic drop function only works on unguided munitions.) @ 15:55 deselect your secondary weapon and hold down drop bomb series as you are approaching target, if all goes well it should drop your payload in whatever bomb series you have set. (one by one quickly staggered for disabled setting, or it'll drop 2, 4, 8, etc. at once.)
Little tip: you can look at the place press the squadron marker and the 2 yellow arrows will pop up and you can look on the map they will pop up on the map as the attention to the map circle but in yellow
7:00 you didn't target lock the other one so it just acted like a dumb bomb, and flew. gotta remember after each bomb drop you need to press T unless it's on the same target.
Yeah ok, It was working fine on Vulan/AMD on the first DEV server. The cynical side of me thinks Nvidia "asked" Gaijin to make sure their ray tracing was released first.
why not just use the standard aviation speed measurements? like Knots, why wasted all that energy specifying mph and kph? we should all be aware of how airspeed works
You must learn how to use guided bombs. It is not acceptable to have wasted half of your ammunition when you have laser guidance which JUST allows you to make precise strikes without waste !
@@Hadgerz i totally agree. it looks gorgeous. But sometimes i record a bit of gameplay and it just looks horrible in the recordings. All washed out. i need to find a good tool to record HDR content
You point with the target designator, where you put that point that bomb will go and only go to where that point was, they dont track moving targets as they are GPS guided
Something fishy is going on. Ray tracing was definitely working on my AMD card on the frist dev server with Vulcan.
Their devblog about raytracing did say that it will only be supported by Nvidia cards on launch so maybe it is not ready or stable enough for AMD yet
I think it's very relaxing to the fly F-117 in air sim
I mean if you go in a straight line for half the match i guess
@@lbuunjjwelcome to sim dude

60 fps is enough
@@spasti7026But more fps feels much smoother. And if you're gonna say the eyes can only see up to 60fps, research again.

Thanks, ( yor comment was held for rewiew for some reason)
Gaijin needs to master contrails because this is a plane that need to fly above con levels.
Absolute chill video
Thanks for watching.
How did you get it to fly smooth?! I take off with minimal stick input and as soon as I get up it acts like it trimmed up 100%
I set the SAS to Dampning mode buddy
9:11 why are the Bagram and Kabul airfields highlited? Do they work now?
I'm not sure bud. maybe there are neutral?
I haven't read the patch notes, I wonder if you can capture them.
Raytracing is only available for Nvidia cards for now...if i remember the DevBlock correctly

As far as I understood, Raytracing is a nVidia tecnology. If you're using a AMD GPU maybe look for a driverupdate
Thanks, RTX is an Nvidia tech, Ray tracing isn't. It worked perfectly on the first dev server.
How do you change the zoom on the camera in the monitor
keybind for either MFD Zoom or you can find it in the multi function menu aswell
Hahaha "300km per hour, for those heretics to do kilometers" 😂 guess Canadians are heretics now... I can get behind that :)
Wouldn't it be better to fly it low? You are giving yourself away with the contrail
Maybe, but it would be difficult to use Jdams and GBUs
Entertaining video Toast. // It always annoyed me that you had to be right over something to discover it. It always leaves you vulnerable to attack.
Indeed. Thanks

Do you play with HDR on or have you tried it?
You need a HDR compatible monitor for that
if you have a HDR monitor, it's fantastic. The sun and its reflections are intense, and the colour pallete is better overall

Yeah my monitor does HDR but I turned it off because I could not get the recording looking right.
all i found was the new Steam recording feature...it looked good while using HDR :)
I’ve played WT four 10 years and still don’t know how to use jdam. No user guide anywhere. Obnoxious.
