    Thank you for your videos. I have watched your videos for probably 2 years, but I am just not one to comment much. However, I wanted to say thank you for taking your time to do this. You have truly been an inspiration for me. I can relate on so many levels. I love your meal preps and I am interested in all your videos. Thank you again for all you do.

    I've been looking for a new channel for doing more strength workouts. I've seen Cee Cee online but never tried a workout. Well, upon your recommendation, I took a closer look at her and see she is doing full body workouts that you can repeat. It is too time consuming to look for a new workout each day, so I was happy to see this. I did my first workout today and plan to do it again Wed and Fri or Sat. I did the one that came out yesterday. I'm used to working out but have upped my weights with Cee Cee. I've been following you since 2019 or 2020, always enjoy your videos!

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  4 місяці тому +1

      Yes!! That's exactly what I love about her workouts. I prefer to do the same one for a week and then move to a different one. And she has them numbered so you can always go back to the beginning and start over. I'm so glad you are enjoying her videos and so glad you were able to up your weights! Great job! And thank you so much for being with me for so long!! I appreciate you!! :)

    Your story is so very similar to mine. I also lost and gained weight many times on Weight Watchers or WW. Trying again. Also trying to find a sustainable balance in my 50s. Thanks for sharing ❤️

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  3 місяці тому

      Thanks so much for watching!! And ohhh, finding that balance in our 50s is definitely hard! I'm slowly finding it though. I am at a point where I'm physically and emotionally feeling so good that I don't even care if the scale moves slow. It's about just trying to live healthy with the years I have left and not trying to chase being "skinny" like I did in my 30s.😊

    I love that you talked about the scale and weigh-in day... this happened to me yesterday. I thought I was down and step on that scale, and I went up.
    I like what you said, take a week, and then average them 😏

      I spent so many years focused on that scale, not realizing the science behind it all. It's so much more than just that number. Sounds like this was good timing for you! 😊

    Happy New Year Kristi! I would like to see some more of your meal preps, grocery haul videos, a day of eating, and your meal plans, just like you used to do. Also, I work the night shifts and if possible, would you be able to do a meal prep? I, too, am focusing on getting more sleep, trying not to think too much, when I am trying to fall asleep. I am 48 and think everything is affecting me now, such as forgetting, brain fog, and getting tired easily. I love your new photo that you posted during the beginning of your video! Thank you for all of your hard work that you do for us. I've been with you for many years now.❤

      Hello, my friend! That's funny you say that about the meal plans. I was just sitting down to plan out my meals for the week and thought that I need to get back to sharing that process once in a while! That was one of the videos I had to kind of let go when I needed to try to find time in my week. But I think I'll film one soon!! And I had someone else ask me for ideas for meal prep because they work night shift. That's a great topic for a video so let me see what I can come up with!! Thank you about that photo - that was from an impromptu photo shoot I did. I'll have to share the other photos. ;) Thank you for being with me through the years! I appreciate that more than you know! 💕

      @@PlanningUsHealthy That would be great if you can. Since I sleep all morning and just eat dinner at home, a snack during work, and then breakfast at 3 am, it's been very hard to track and meet my caloric and protein goals. I'm really struggling trying to incorporate meals and snacks.

    Great video Kristi.Gosh I cant believe we are in 2024.I also love strength training,been a bit cold in Florida for walking.I remember Curves.I have been with ww for so long I actually remember when they sold food at my ww center like for the week.I am not an active ww member anymore but I think what you learn is always there.I eat much healthier now but my activity is lacking

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  4 місяці тому +1

      I remember food being sold too - prior to Weight Watchers, I went to "Diet Workshop" with my grandmother and she was one of the receptionists and I would help her spread all the food on the table before the meetings. Definitely was 100% "diet culture" back then and no emphasis on health, not that I remember anyway. I tend to go through spurts with my activity, but I am so determined to be more consistent this year!!! We can do it!

    I have the same struggles with sleep. I am working on a similar goal to get 7 hours of sleep during the week but it’s not easy. Quieting my mind is hard. I’m also post-menopausal and am focusing on fat loss and muscle gain this year. I love the informational type videos especially with regard to nutrition. I’m a former WW member who has been trying to follow macros and a low carb lifestyle to lower my A1C some more. I was pre diabetic last year. It’s a struggle for me to eat low carb and I’m not sure why. But I am working on it. Looking forward to seeing more videos. Here’s to taking care of us though in 2024.

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  4 місяці тому

      Thanks so much! I have noticed that my mind quiets down quicker if I'm not on my phone or laptop right before bed, so I've been really trying hard to shut the electronics down earlier and just read a book. Sounds like we have a lot of similarities!! I can't say I do low carb, but I'd say probably "lower" carb than the norm simply because of menopause. But I still eat rice, potatoes, etc. I just try to do my best to limit the "fun" carbs like chips, cakes, cookies, etc. Let's do this thing together, my friend!! 😊

    It's wonderful seeing you back on UA-cam Kristi..!! And I agree with you as far as watching the numbers on the scale. If you're happy with the weight you're at because you look absolutely beautiful. And all of your numbers are good as far as blood work and what not goes then I really wouldn't worry about trying to lose a whole lot more weight. I hate to sound like a broken record but like I said before you look absolutely beautiful Kristi... Just a friendly compliment I don't mean to offend your husband or anything by telling you that you're beautiful. Just reassuring you that you look just fine and if you can maintain the weight you're at without fail and it's easy to do then don't worry about losing any more weight... I'm 52 years old also and I know that it doesn't come off easy. It's a lot of work! And to be honest with you the comparison pictures you showed with you at your heavier weight there was nothing wrong with you then. You were still an absolutely gorgeous lady! But I understand health issues being a factor. Thanks for sharing this Kristi. And like I said I'm not trying to sound like a broken record. Just giving you friendly compliments. No offense to your husband he's a very lucky man! Have a wonderful evening and I look forward to more excellent videos! 👍 10:59

    As a type 2 diabetic 60yr old I thought I would try and reduce my carbs, sort of Keto or dirty keto I think they call it ha. This has been massively successful for me 34lb loss in 16 weeks and blood sugars have never been better. Ive never been a fan of WW and the likes, its all about finding what works for yr body I think. Anyway Happy New Year to you all from the Uk x

    I don’t even know how you have time to do videos! Have you ever taken time off from videos just to make sure you get your lifting and walking in? That in itself is a lot of work. Or is UA-cam an income? I’m just curious. I do look forward to your videos!

    • @PlanningUsHealthy
      @PlanningUsHealthy  4 місяці тому

      That's exactly why I've had to slow down on the number of videos I put out. I was getting to where I was working all day at my regular job and just up way too late editing at night. And yes, there were many times I wasn't taking time for my lifting and walking. But you are right. It's definitely a lot of work. UA-cam is a hobby for me, not for income. I do make a small amount each month from the ad revenue, but I wouldn't consider it income. I usually roll that money back into it, like this week I had to order new USB card readers and cards for my camera - things like that. 😊
