Outcast exb replaced broken driveshaft
Also a new center differential Locker from eBay (fits f/r also)

2 new m2c driveshafts Installed
F/R Installed new CVD reduild kit
Had to (drimmel)sand down the axle holes smooth was Wore-out and made It bind up and snap the driveshafts !!

How has this gearing held up for you with the warmer days? I just picked up a hw max 5 and 800kv combo for one of my 8s Arrma trucks. Currently have it 34/39.
Great set up but must have a good fan! Not a expensive one just something decent to keep it cool during hard bashing with 39/39 800kv .
My “best setup” I found is 1100kv 29/39 gearing. Thanks for watching!
@@jaguarsrcfamily101 Nice thanks for the info. I plan to try an 1100kv soon in my outcast. The 800kv just blew my center diff spider gears up this week in my kraton exb 8s. I had a stock diff with 20mil in it. I still can’t believe it blew a diff up so quick. I don’t even land on throttle any and wasn’t doing any hard bashing when it broke. Oh well part of the hobby is replacing parts lol.
Hello. I just picked up a new exb roller 8s outcast. I got a max5 g1 with 56113 800 kv. I’m fairly new to the hobby. Would you recommend changing fluid in diffs if so what fluid? What servo are you using? Thanks!! Subscribed!!!

Thanks wheels are Duratrax brand belted wheels Hatchet X and Bandito X . The Belted version is highly recommended !!
I cant keep my Outcast 8s together. Ive pretty much given up on it and it just sits on the shelf with a blown rear diff. Every time except once i had to carry it back. Im afraid to take it out as its been nothing but problems for me. Probably used it ten times and 9 of them i had to carry the damn thing back.
Have you tried adding shims to the diff to get the mesh tighter? Lots of people have to add shims to move the ring and pinion closer to each other for a tighter gear mesh especially after very much run time and the diff cases have time to lose a little bit of tightness/tolerance.
@@CentralVAracer i only blew the rear diff once when i first got it i chech pretty much every screw for tightness as i do for all except for the center diff and it ended up spilling its guts inside the trans the second time i had it out.
@@CentralVAracer i should also mention it was the spider gears inside the rear diff that exploded, not the ring and pinion.
