Thanks for watching and to answer your question I’d say the wobble on the Pinion is a more serious unfortunate issue but if it’s not shredding teeth then bash on. Not much you can do unless you replace the internal motor shaft etc. sounds like you had some good fun with the 08S 🚀🔥👊The main gear in the gear box isn’t a big deal at all and shouldn’t affect the cars performance. Been a while since i messed around with the center gears but no issues with some play from my experience. I’d Keep bashing until you see the bent shaft is making pinions skip/break teeth. I run 39/39 on 800kv and 29/39 on my 1100kv .

1100kv hands down 29/39 gearing is what I run but requires motor fans in Florida summer heat. But Standing backflips all day. Lighter weight also than 800kv. Also Go to Jennysrc.com get same stuff at discount price! Life saver for repairs especially all new take off parts. Better the eBay amazon etc (M2C racing is king up durability upgrades but cost is a factor.) check out rc dude 81 he makes great honest bashing content.

Yes should be no problem ,just get gearing dialed in ! Having a Temp gun is a must ! 1100kv is the truly best motor for this truck 29/39 is what I run it requires fans for longer bashing in summer especially

Thanks for watching , only red one has m2c chassis , if you have the Exb chassis I would not worry about chassis upgrade as it’s good enough for most. M2C is worth the $$ though . Never really worry about it on horrible crashes 😅

1100kv all day 29/39 gearing 🚀🚀

basically the same speed capability if you do 8s on the 1100kv and 12s on the 800kv, but downside to me is that two 6s batteries will cost more than two 4s batteries so its a waste of money doing 12s on the 800kv but if you only 8s on 800kv than thats a huge loss of nearly 30% of your speed

So 8s max5 1100kv combo with 29/39 spur and pinion ??

Which truck ? Outcast is perfect 29/39 , Xmaxx 20/46 is best for me . The 23/46 is too hot for bashing with stock fans at-least. Thanks for watching. I’m installing the 1100kv right now actually ,new Bashing Video coming soon !

Summer yes and winter not so much . A Cheap fan will work just fine but it’s a must have if you bash hard. Great gearing for me so far!

Good question! I’d say For one you don’t need to modify the steering rack to fit the long can! Or purchase a m2c steering rack (65$)2nd would be weight and most importantly I would say the power seems a lot more suitable for quick stunts flips etc. 29/39 gearing is perfect for my driving style. The air control is perfect for last minute corrections. I have both set ups in my 2 trucks now and it’s more exiting to drive the 1100. 800kv is fine just big and heavy and you have to gear it up so much you motor slider is all the way on the end of the motor mount so hard landing can bend it easier I believe? Both are great and can work with proper gearing. I had to buy a PPS motor slider also the 800 gearing 39/39 Thanks

Great set up but must have a good fan! Not a expensive one just something decent to keep it cool during hard bashing with 39/39 800kv . My “best setup” I found is 1100kv 29/39 gearing. Thanks for watching!

@@jaguarsrcfamily101 Nice thanks for the info. I plan to try an 1100kv soon in my outcast. The 800kv just blew my center diff spider gears up this week in my kraton exb 8s. I had a stock diff with 20mil in it. I still can’t believe it blew a diff up so quick. I don’t even land on throttle any and wasn’t doing any hard bashing when it broke. Oh well part of the hobby is replacing parts lol.

Hello. I just picked up a new exb roller 8s outcast. I got a max5 g1 with 56113 800 kv. I’m fairly new to the hobby. Would you recommend changing fluid in diffs if so what fluid? What servo are you using? Thanks!! Subscribed!!!

Yes I agree . Ive been thinking about getting the new proline paddle tires. I always break driveshaft and diffs so I thought it might be too much grip or weight for my drive it like you stole it bashing style😂 thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching, Honestly after trying the 1100kv (with max5) 29/39 gearing it’s much lighter and better then the 800kv . So much torque and it backflips with ease. The size of the 800kv requires trimming of the steering rack so it won’t hit also. M2C has a 7075 steering assembly that clears it, but that’s also more money. I’d say 1100kv is much better in my opinion. I think newer Spektrum 800kv clears with no issues also? Good luck on your build!

@@jaguarsrcfamily101 Thanks for the info! I'm a couple weeks out from buying the esc/motor combo so still doing research. I thought the 800kv torque would flip it easier but I know gearing and weight play a part to. I'm still learning. 🤛👍
