So happy you are talking about warblers, I have a pine warbler I call Rodrigo that serenades me every day! He has such a beautiful song, he took over my eastern bluebirds box and will stand on top of it 6 feet from me and sing his little heart out. I buy meal worms for he and his mate. He is my favorite singer and not at all shy. Thanks for all the great information, I love your channel!

The yellow warblers are very social if you ask me. I have had a nest on my property for the last 3 years and about 3-5 birds that hang around. They eat small worms out of my cypress tree. Always around, watching me and flying close to me and even company. I love having them around the yard and everyone comments on them

@Roger Trent I havent took action yet. Actually the blue jays dive bombing the hawk runs him off. We had a black bear walk right up close to bird feeders yesterday. We clapped our hands and ran him back into the woods. We do take our bird feeders down every night around 7pm. Racoon was destroying them. Lol

Feeders attract birds that attract predators.
Place feeders accordingly to give them camouflage and cover advantage and maybe stop stocking feeders when you spot return of predators.
Encourage programs that get feral cats "fixxed".
Assune cats kill anything that moves.
Windows need to be made less likely to harm birds in flight, so see how it's done today
Discourage junk ultra processed food consumption by any animal .
Whenever cananabilism and starvation returns, wildlife is further and rapidly wiped out for food and for things like wood to burn and other acts of desperation by too many lacking an graces with Nature.
Fed birds trust people to much. Feed them so they dont befriend too much.
They need to be even more cautious then crows.
Nevertheless, a study of wolf introduction shows comprehensive eco improvements in places like Yellowstone. Even beavers benefit.
Nature connects all, all ways, and balance with consequences and these are both success failures to sustainable Earthly success.
      IMHO et al

Every spring and fall I hear Warblers migrating at night here in CT. They're Chickadee-like "tsee" flight call is common.
I've gotten to witness the Yellow Warbler singing from atop a cluster of bushes near a small lake a few times. I've only been able to spot a Common Yellowthroat once.
I live in an area of a city that is more suburban-like, with many trees and bushes, along with a woodlot behind the building I live in and a small brook and large forested park nearby. I hear Yellow Warblers and Yellow-rumped Warblers singing from trees along the brook in my quiet neighborhood. I just recently saw an Ovenbird doing its evening singing-while-flying as I was walking on the quiet street I live on. Pine Warblers are heard from the large forested park.

The quarantine hut with had timing for birdwatchers in New Jersey, and I missed seeing my spots for waterthrushes, blackburnians, and less common warblers. My yard had a nice supply of yellow, yellow-rumped, and common yellow throats. The pair of yellowthroats that nested in my trees are still hanging out now in late July. I assume they are done with their fledglings and are just prepping to return to Florida.

I get a ton of yellow rump warblers some bang on my window like it’s a predator and back in the worm feeder. I even get eastern bluebirds at the same time lol
