Manual and if it has m42b18 103kw, keep the engine. New cams and a tune and have gem of a driver. 4 banger keeps the front light and nice to drive
Yay !
OMG ... Hes... ALIVE 😅✌️
Yeah that thing is definitely clean
M52 all day long
Nice to see you back!
He’s finally back!
About freaking time
Crazy high load rotrex turbo, high end header, ultra short gear box, high suspension, rally tires and hit it hard :D
Either swap in an M52 or save a little bit and go S52, both paired with an M50 Manifold and a manual swap ofc
HEY!!!! You’re back!!! Hahaha. I wish I could find an e36 up here in Wisconsin
Ugh. I meant up here in Alaska. Just moved up here three months ago
i would say since your gonna go drop the engine just swap to a 328 and a manual thats it just small touches it will look mint
Keep it original
Dont get an M3 Motor, NA tune this one, trust me the weight advantage of this little 4 Cylinder is hilarious
and you dont need to upgrade cooling brakes etc.
Depends if you can get another motor for cheap money
M52!
Keep is original.
That’s insane, u think I’m the 3rd owner of my car yet the 2nd owner bought it and never drove it so technically I’m the 2nd!
328 💯❤️
I have a 97 318i I'm looking to put an m52b28/tu engine in to, a full in depth guide wouldn't go amiss on that and would bump up the value of the car for the best price to performance ratio.
Try to fix it, keep it original.
Is not worth it for a 4 cylinder I had one with manual nothing but problems swap it with another engine
color code?
Keep original
Let that poor engine just die in peace. Replace it with Honda K24 engine and some manual transmission. Then enjoy some ~200hp, reliability, fun, and fuel efficiency. If later it becomes not enough - a small turbo may be a good addition.
Any BMW engine seems to be priced extremely high these days. New ones are awesome, and old ones show their age in every way, shape, and form. Either new or old are just too much money compared to what that money can get you in the Honda world.
I was legit just coming along to say k24.
