    Grazie

Lo ha realizzato mentre cantava in teatro. Voleva trasmetterlo al pubblico attraverso il linguaggio. Queste esperienze sentiva provenivano dalla sua anima.

I would not expect a guy with such a gentle, light to sing like that.

in short: "If this singer with his/her expressions enters you, and makes you experience beautiful moments, in a way when you look at a person near you in the eyes with more joy... in this moment in the theater, while listening to this singer, if he/she makes you live real emotions inside, then you can judge him/her. This is the reason why you should go to the theater."

Excellent observations, David. His register balance was splendid, as can be heard both from the sonorous richness at the bottom, & the laser like squillo at the top. The brilliant closed ee's & the focused bright oo's both rely on a correctly produced upper register. Oo's & ee's are not vowel sounds that can be 'boomed' in a full lower register after the voice has risen above the bridge. This is why many of todays baritones & tenors have almost indistinguishable vowel sounds & no vocal colours.

A very great tenor, strangely underrated and little known. A wonderful technique and a fine artist!

Excellent. He looks like we would find him in a bus station looking for cigarette ends - but he speaks and sings the truth.

@TheVoicelesson You are correct with one exception: It is not the fault of the singer, it's that the nature of the business has changed dramatically. I think that now that the art is not making much money, cd sales are way down, production costs are too high, that we will see a return to the old model where an artist is developed fully. For there are less options to "sell" and it makes more sense to develop. But there is only so much reinvention that the art form can take.

Listen to Franco Corelli and Hans Hotter speak. They seem to speak away from the depth of their singing voices. Others lean into the spoken voice and sound similar to their singing voice while speaking.
