I made a mistake at the beginning of the video - Richard originally wanted the risers to make room for the crate. The hamstring discussion was had with another customer who order them.
Just ordered a set of these for my Old Town Sportsman 120 PDL. I have ordered a bunch of stuff for my kayak from Navarre and have NEVER been disappointed! His innovations have definitely improved the performance and comfort of my boat.
Got mine in today…had to look up the video. Soooo happy with the order 👍 Received the floating nuts and wrench too 👊 Headed back to order the spacers 😉 Thanks man for some fantastic upgrades!!!!
Thanks for video on this nick. I seen them when i was ordering a few of your part/upgrades over the weekend. I now have more stuff to add to my list 🙂 before we have are thaw out here in Michigan. Keep up the great work Nick 🍻
Ha. You got me again. Just ordered a set of front and rear. Feel free to name the new wing of your home after me. All kidding aside, always great products and awesome customer service.
Awesome, I can't wait to order some!!! So quick question, I'm assuming you used the 1.5in riser in the back? Have you tried the 2in riser in the back yet? I do know I want to go with the 1in in the front, but don't know if I should go with a 1.5in or 2in in the back??? Thanks
The risers work real well. My tackle box fits much better under the seat, but when you have to paddle its a bit different with the extra hight. My reach to the pedal drive does seem to be easier though.
I like your presentation in your videos. As a 65 year old owner of a Topwater 120 I think the seat risers make alot of sense. I'm ready to order but can't find the front track risers on the website. Thanks
Did you feel you needed to add more then a 1 inch in the back after adding the 2 inch in the front? Thanks brother and keep up the good work. Everything I have ordered from you has been Outstanding!!
I added 1” to the front (two 1/2” pieces per side). I would recommend raising the rear 1” higher then the front to reduce the reclined feeling. For me, I intend to raise the front 1” and the back 2”.
Hey Nick, I have the one inch risers for the front and three inch on the back. The one inch risers on the front cause the seat to shuffle around even strapped down which in turn causes my back risers to shift and my seat falls down. I have the sportsman 120 pdl. Not sure if anyone had mentioned any issues to you but I could send you pics of what I’m talking about. I’m thinking the one inch is too high for the sportsman because the seat will shift in the little cradle that locks it down to the guides. I weigh 225 so not sure if it’s my weight but just figured I would let you know I’m having some issues.
Nick, love your products, i currently have your rear seat risers and transducer scupper mount on my 106 pdl, my question is, would you recommend changing out the rope style rudder lines and steering lines with like a coated wire type line to eliminate any stretch that may occur over time from use?? Thanks in advance
My Sportsmans 106 pdl, makes that same skweek sound while peddling ! I know it’s just the peddles and not the drive . But it’s annoying . How do you get remedy that ???
I like it Nick. Did you find it changed your seating position forwards or backwards or did it stay the same? My list of things to buy is getting bigger and now that hunting season is almost over, I am ready to get back on the water. Think you can turn up the thermostat a little for me though?? :-) --Brent
@@NavarreKayakFishing Thanks Nick. I already rummaged throught the garage to see how many extension cords I could find and see how many feet that would give me out on the water. LOL!!

Now if you could only find a solution for the top bar of the backrest from digging into my back that would great 😂 idk y but it doesn’t line up well with shoulder blades, I had an ascend kayak from bass pro years ago and that seat was way more comfortable on the back
