I'm so glad to see you again! I'm also relieved that you haven't completely left UA-cam. I only recently discovered your videos and instantly liked your laid back style. You connect well with people, and you have great ideas to share. I'm glad you're feeling better after such a difficult pregnancy. Congrats to you and Tanner on your daughter! ❤ I truly hope you can continue making these videos. Take care, Alexi!
It's great to have an update from you. I was just thinking about you a few weeks ago and wondering if you've given birth. My wife and I had our first in 2023 as well, and we've had similar feelings to yours. We both always thought we didn't want kids, but having our little girl is the best thing that's ever happened in our lives. We just love her so much. No amount of travel, sleeping in, extra money to buy things, or alone time is worth more to me than my daughter. My wife says she feels like she was sold a lie that she should strive for a career etc, and that she finally feels like her life has real purpose. Not hating on career women or anything. We also plan on doing home school for as long a possible so it's nice that my wife doesn't have to work now. I agree with you about social media. We've agreed to not post any photos or videos of our daughter. When she is old enough to have social media, she can make that decision on her own after many discussions about the pros and cons. My wife also said she only wanted to have one child, and now that our daughter is almost 11 months old, she is thinking she'd like to have another. You never know. Thanks for the update. I wish you and your family all the best. Enjoy your time with her. It just keeps getting better. I highly recommend reading or listening to the book "Hold on to your Kids." I found it to be an enlightening book that explained my own upbringing quite a bit, and gave me things to think about when raising my own kids. Take care and much love to all three of you. Luke
Wao that last question and answer really gets me too. I really feel those tears and emotions. When I became a Mother for the first time (1996) I just move from my native place of born Puerto Rico. To USA. And not only I was super young (18) to have a baby. But I was all by myself with my ex husband working full time. The only close family that I ever have (Mom and my siblings). All of them was in Puerto Rico in those times. And unfortunately because of many things to mention😆. I never had real long term friends since I was a little girl. So I grow up in a way very introvert. Being so immature at the time and having to discover motherhood all by myself. Lead me to postpartum depression for years!Affecting my mental health, my emotions, my physical, my relationship with my babies and even my marriage. I definitely agree on having a good support system and plan. To help you to go through of your first born motherhood process.💚
The crying is so welcome love ur open communication i learn so much
