Scottty and Pareau, best duo since Oreos and Milk. And Rich is like the chocolate milk that’s left over. Without one you wouldn’t have the other. Teamwork makes the dream work.
Scott, you Rich and Pareau have got some mad carpentry skills. Best I've seen on YT bar none. I'm glad you've been able to stay busy during Covid. A testament to the quality of the work you do. I particularly like that you never seem to settle for less than the absolute proper way to do things. If I could afford it, I'd fly you all to Canada to build my cabin/cottage. Brilliant way to finish the series Scott! Really enjoyed every episode and the wrap up overview at the end. Looking forward to the next exciting episode. 👍🏼
Gorgeous! From the pocketed ceiling cross pieces (whatever they are called) to the wrap-around return on the baseboard for the inset door. No detail too small! Thanks for the video and the series. Looking forward to the next.
Looks great, it turned out awesome! What happened with that small apartment project you were working on at the beginning of lock down? The one with the asbestos in the floor under the cabinet and where you jack-hammered into a water supply pipe? 🤣
Scott - do us a favor big man and add the episode number to either the title or the description because it makes it so much easier to follow. Cheers, All the best from here in Houston, Texas via Glasgow, Scotland. Iain
If you go to the “Playlists” section of his channel, it usually organises them chronologically, but I agree! A quick “SBC EP 214“ would be pretty neat!
I really like how you summarized the job with this start to finish video. Lots of work in that bungalow Scott! Thanks for the education and entertainment.
Beautiful work love seeing house the build in NZ. So much goes into renovations that people don't see, footers beams insulation but that's what separates a good reno from a bad one. Enjoy the channel a ton I think I've watched all the exciting episodes.
Im a Kiwi who worked in Lexington KY as a builder back in the late 90's, was typical to get baked half way through the day with the boys. miss the USA, good place.
Utterly brilliant! As below watched avidly from start to finish. Incredible attention to detail. Quality. Incredible craftsmanship! What a Team! Thank you from Lockdown II UK. You cannot begin to understand how much your videos lift the spirits! Stay safe. Cheers,!👍

These videos are so good. Thinking about moving to New Zealand once I’ve qualified (Apprentice Electrician) and these videos just make me wanna move even more so. Please keep doing what you’re doing Scott
Having worked in many countries as an apprentice, carpenter and plumber - I can say that NZ tradesmen were some of the easiest and most honest guys to work with. Made showing up to the job sites much more fun and the endless jokes and games amongst the boys made a shitty day awesome. NZ usually has a lax attitude, but they pretty much always get it done right!!
I just finished watching every single one of your videos. I only found your channel recently. Great job UA-cam. Excellent recommendation for once. Anyway, keep up the fantastic vids and work. You seem like u all have a great laugh building and working together. Long may that continue.
I do a lot of video editing and you're right, that is one heck of a time-consuming endeavor! This is some of the best 18 minutes of skills one can find on YT!
I’ve really enjoyed watching this series as much as you have liked doing it. Excellent craftsmanship, as always, by you and your team. I look forward to the next series.
Cool videos Scott. Good craftsmanship both of carpentry and editing. Really like the chilly background music. Nice to watch someone enjoying their job that much. Keep up! Cheers from Poland. 👍

watching that chimney come down reminds me of the Fred Dibnah intro you mentioned. I’ve watched countless hours of Fred since. Learned a ton and admire his intellect and prowess into all things in building and steam. Although I don’t see myself investing in a steam engine anytime soon! Great series Scott and cheers mate! Thanks for all the great content.
Well worth the wait. I’m usually right on it whenever you drop a new episode, but realizing it was 18 minutes I waited until I had time. I really enjoyed the full build format.
